Those 235s sounded the same...our 1948 1 ton had 'hiway gears'..so it went plenty fast in traffic

You skipped right over the part I'm struggling with. That hard fuel line that you describe as a "flexible line" is connected to the engine via 8 hoses with some type of electrical device in the middle. How do I remove those 8 connections without breaking them? Everyone just skips over that part in each youtube video I've seen.

It doesn't really make sense to restore these cars unless you plan on keeping it .A person would never make a dime doing a full restoration on something like this,l have a 78 I'm restoring and it was a texas car l have 15k in it and it's just now ready for paint l figured l have another 15-20k to go before it's done

It is just AMAZING to me that no one at GM noticed the shifter. Major FAIL! Also, at this price to not give options is just ignorant. No matter what color exterior YOU MUST HAVE ALPINE UMBER! What? Maybe I want black, or grey, or beige... Also limited on wheel and tire choices. When one builds a Denali Ultimate, one should get more top options. NOT LESS!

Like the idea. Not sure which one you chose. However, I would go with sealing it if you are keeping the old truck. Also, you can torch it to give the boards a nice charcoal aging.

I've been using renewable diesel in my Duramax. Also use Lucas oil DPF diesel deep clean. You'll be amazed how much more power you can get. Renewable diesel burns 75% cleaner than regular #2. Thats 75% less regen and DEF.

When I heard the noises coming from it while running on the hoist, I would have said 'bad pinion bearing'. That, of course makes the visible wear on the crown gear collateral damage. By the way, I may be able to explain the negative pressure in the diff as you removed the drain plug. If the C6 is the same as the C5, it will have a vent with a check valve in it. Allows pressure built up due to heat expanding the air in the unit to be vented, but maintains some vacuum during cool down. This was reputed to be GM's effort to reduce driveway leakage issues. I have had a new C5 Vent in my hands and can verify the check valve action as described.

Just happened upon your channel as I'm planning to run an engine build with the Term X and wanted to see others running the engine with the TermX on the stand. Good video; engine sounds great. After watching your video I'll try to get the AFR on the dash screen prior to first start so I can easily watch that. Thanks for posting!

Man, I wish I had the money and or Knowledge to do this. I have a 07 mega cab that I would love to keep but it is a money pit. The rockers, cab corners and upper wheel wells are toast. Awesome work! If I decide to tackle this job, I will reference your video and pick your brain for months, I am sure.

Its actual cheap and easy if you do your homework on tools And how dos ..Your basic needs will be sawzall And grinder with a cut off wheel And a drill The welder which would best suit You And the cost And the need would be a mini mig welder - $200 avg Then get some 18 gauge metal to test it out on ..plenty of videos on how to weld thin metals ..Order your parts for that truck..Find the welds on the old parts Drill them out And chisel the rest Clean up the areas with the grinder And sandpaper Get some weld thru primer .. Before you weld make sure the battery is dis conn..And you have a bucket of water around ..Its good if you have a place to work on it And up to having min a compressor for airtools

At 78 mph My LML made 15-16 mpg with 35 inch tires. After I deleted it I made 18-20 mpg. Deleted I would get 26 mpg at 55 mph.
