This vehicle is absolutely gorgeous! It wad time for General Motors to pick up its game on a stylish suv in/out.

I got my RS May 13 and I’m amazed with it every day and with this 4 cylinder turbocharge, it really gets up and go Total fully loaded about $61.000

I cancelled my Highlander hybrid order after seeing the new Traverse. I have an older Traverse and it's never given me any grief. I also never buy the first year of a new design. I'll wait to see if there are any problems and then place my order in 2025. Although I like the RS, I really like the look of the Z71 and happy it has a cheaper price tag.
I’m all in but so nervous about GM quality and reliability…
We pick up our new 24 Traverse on Wednesday. 🎉 Love the new body style! ❤ I'm not happy about the slow trickle out of them. They're so hard to get, at least in Canada. Plus, dealers aren't overly excited to do extra deals on them. We bought ours at the rail yard, if they hit the dealer lot, they're already sold.

We are seeing similar here. This one almost sold out from underneath me while I was filming it.

Yupp I got lucky and it was only a 3 month wait as it was being built for the dealer in my town and and still got to pick the colour as it wasn’t painted yet 😅. Can’t wait for it to show up and glad you got one !!
One thing that is a factor is the seat belt is not attached to seat. So slide and tilt would only work for a latch rear facing unless you want to take the seat belt out or duck under it each time for a front facing car seat that has seat belt run through back of it…
You should do a LS/LT model review so we can see the difference and compare… that’s been my biggest hesitation on trading in my RS Equinox.. I need all the same features.. and I heard that some of the RS features are now standard on the traverse basic models.. which is cool.
Will you guys review the Z71 trim aswell? I’d Soo that’s be great !!😊

As soon as we can get one from Chevy for a full week. This was one I borrowed from a dealer and almost had sell while I was filming it. They are hard to get to right now. We are trying to get one ASAP though.

@@GTGarageTalk yes they pretty much go soon as thy hit the lot unless u hv one ordered which is my situation so just waiting on it to get made then delivered
The 3rd row is huge miss on this vehicle. If you move 2nd row all the way back the 3rd row cant fold down. With 2nd row moved back there is about 3 inches between 2nd row and 3rd row seats. For us im 6'3 wife is 6'0 that sit with front seats moved back to be comfy which means wnd row is all the way back to fit 2 car seats keaving 3rd row stuck up and useless.
First off, the Acadia has a heads up display, can’t get a heads up display on any Traverse. 👎. The traverse is definitely ugly, the back portion with that weird piece that goes up and back behind the rear passenger windows is dumb. It’s definitely slower and less torque than the v6 of the Blazer, so they’re not being up front about numbers, could be weight of the vehicle is heavier but you will definitely miss the v6. Turbo 4 does not save on gas enough to use it, the engine is only bad part of the Acadia. But if you think a traverse and Acadia are twins, you’re nuts. Same size and platform, sure, but the Acadia is way more luxurious and has better screens. Skip the Chevy, get the GMC.
Rubbers? What's on your mind? 😁

Freudian slip. lol.
Aren’t them wheels too big for such engines?¿ That’s my only concern about the RS

Again, the engine is making more power than what it replaced…
Beautiful suv but Japanese are the king in reliability.

The newest ones are having big recalls…
Better looking than a GH but let’s be real, the GH will be out driving on the roads while this is sitting in a maintenance bay. Classic GM quality for the 21st century.
no power why put the small engine

That small engine makes more power than the V6 it replaced.
Interior seats looks flimsy and cheap, I do like the exterior a lot tho
I'm sorry, but it's too old for a 2024 design. It's like a design from five years ago.

Are you saying this is an older model? Which is not, it's an all new generation. Are you saying the new design looks outdated? If so, can you give an example of a vehicle that does look fresh/new? The design(interior and exterior) imo looks far better than most of its competitors(economy brands).
Grand highlander interior is cheap.
Turbo engines The majority of the driving public do not know enough about engines, turbos, cubic inches, torque and horsepower to care. Just like and air compressor, the higher the pressure you run it the shorter the life of the pump, a car engine is a pump. Turbo's pressurize the engine to falsely make it put out more power. The 4 cylinders lose power as they get more miles on them, there is no substitute for cubic inches, horsepower and torque. I have built engines and turb's boost the pressure into the small engines creating more power at the expense of the life of the engine. Your maintenance cost will exponentially increase with a turbo when it fails. Any economy you may have gotten from the turbo will be totally lost on the replacement cost of the turbo.

Yes, BUT we treat cars like a disposable product nowadays. Longevity after the warranty runs out no longer matters.
Toyota will last 4 times longer.

Toyota is going through some quality issues right now. Major recall on the new Tundra…
One ugly looking vehicle though I hate the front end. Hyundai Santa Fe is much better but I think the traverser probably hold up better. And Chevy is still marking up their vehicles where you can't even reach them. Ridiculous. I will never do business with Chevy
