Hey Ben, I’ve owned a 2019 Laramie E-Torque and currently own a 22 Limited E-Torque. It’s really a no brainer, the E-Torque saves fuel. My 2019 Laramie with the 3.21 rear got 29 MPG highway. My current 3.92 rear gets me 24 MPG. The RAMS are the best looking and riding, PERIOD.

Recommended three years in a row by Consumer Reports as most reliable best-looking is subjective but I tend to agree with you there the best all-around package with the smoothest ride and the best interior and the fact that their discounted makes it an absolute no-brainer and you don't pass yourself every 5 blocks like driving a Ford

Damn that's really good for mpg. I've driven one and it doesn't lack acceleration power either for the heavy foot drivers. My opinion the best pick up on the market. Just wish trucks didn't cost so much
The people also demand a new Ram Dakota! ✊
The engine people want in their RAM is 6.4 with 485hp and 485 torque. No truck person wants a 6 or 4 cylinder.
From a recovering F-150aholic, we have really enjoyed our '22 Ram 1500 Laramie 2wd. I ordered it with the standard 5.7L non-eTorque. The truck will do a solid 21 mpgs on the interstate at 70 mph. And that's without the cylinder de-activation (that I never use 'cause I just don't think it's good for the motor, no matter what the manufacturers say). Thanks Ben, you're videos helped me decided to go with the Ram.

@@ubeuonly Actually you can defeat MDS by using the gear limiter.
Ben! You slowed your roll! I enjoy your video’s even more now.
No reason we do not have a 6.4 ram 1500 It should be an option Especially on the sport. Standard on the rebel. Durango has it and it is loved by the owners. Toes more. Is faster. And would be so fitting in the world of competition we see. I am ok with ram staying pushrod V8 vs twin turbo v-6 but give us better option.
This looks more like a 2022 Laramie. All 2023 Hemi's have etorque. 2023 Laramies don't have fender flares. For the 2023 Laramies, you can only get a sports package with either Level 1 or Level B equipment package, which automatically gives you a 12" Uconnect touch screen with nav. Also mirror turn signals for 2023s are darkened a little.

I have a 22 and the back seat middle arm rest is different than the one in this video. It is wider and has a lid you can open to store things
Up here in Canada the Sports com with Black badges. And you can get the G/T package on them.
I had a 19 without etorque and now a 23 of course with etorque. I'm so far really happy with the system, and it's warrantied for 8 years/80k.
This is my dream truck! Amazing job Ben.

Your dream truck is a expensive piece of 💩
I have a 2020 limited loaded that listed for $68,500. My neighbor liked my truck so much that he bought 2022 limited that cost almost 10K more.
I really like the Sport look. I have 22' Billet Silver - Big Horn - Sport, very nice truck
I bought ap 2021 laramie sport with 12 inch screen and no air suspension and it was stickered at 59k. They just keep going up in price. Love etorque by the way.
The people love the 5.7 Hemi
In canada we got the best dodge option which is the sport which is just like a Laramie but without the chrome
I have the 5.7 with the 3.21 gears live it great gas mileage
That winter + 20 showin
Nice addendum sticker 😊
I still think the Limited should have a 392 Option.

Is it possible to just buy the digital gauge cluster and put it into a 19'-22' model? Seems like the 23' are more expensive and that's it.
67k is crazy
I demand a Damn single cab with the new front end!!
Hey Ben, was wondering if when you put the headlights on, could you turn the fog lights on as well? I know it's maybe a bit silly but I would love to see these review vids. Thanks!!!

Yes There's a fog light button
The 23 laramie sport we ordered has the digital cluster
Can you put the Digital Cluster from the Rebel in the Laramie? Is it compatible?
I just picked up this exact truck today except mine is e-torque. Traded a 2015 lone star. I have not really got on it yet. It will be pulling a trailer 90% of it's life so I think that is where I will notice the difference with e-torque. Oh, and I dont think mine has air ride.
damn what a gorgoues beautiful truck
In canada the Laramie comes with the 12 inch screen and all the bells and whistles . Weird how u.s doesn't have it
Badging should be body color or black. No one wants old man chrome on their sport.

Wait a minute! That truck didn’t have the eTorque system! Didn’t see it under the hood. I thought the eTorgue was becoming standard for 2023? (You can see the regular alternator in place instead of the eTorque system)
This truck does not have the etorque. So is this a 2023 model?
How come some 2023 Laramie's come with fender flares and some don't?
I went with out the E torque on my 2021. Don’t need to problems it’s known for . Batteries are way way over priced once out of warranty.
They could keep the digital gauge and offer a Hemi 392 as a option.
I had a 2020 Laramie 5.7 (etorque) and now I have e a 2022 bighorn back country but plain 5.7 (no- etorque). If your leasing it for 3 years, etorque is great. I'm planning on holding on to mine for a long time, and my concerns is any type of maintenance long-term with battery/ etorque/ starter system. But right now Ram has a bigger problem. Pricing is out of hand...for literally the same 2019 model. Maybe you add uconnect 5, or even digital display over the years, but it doesn't give then the excuse to increase prices by $5k across the board for the same 2019 stuff.
@ubeuonly
Жыл бұрын
It's not a ram problem it's across-the-board but Bram is still discounting their trucks where Ford is requesting MSRP or higher
@marklopez5267

I just bought a 2019 Laramie with all these same features for $40k. Coming from a '21 Chevy Silverado...I love my RAM so far! Ride quality and interior is far superior.
Why don’t they have a hybrid like fords? Plug in power for tools and gas!
It’s a shame that in extreme cold weather the air bags shit the bed or I’d buy one over my TRX
I'm almost 100% this is not a 2023. That is definitely a 2022. The 2023s have tinted mirror turn signals and the Laramie's do not have fender flares anymore, so it is like the bighorn. Only the higher trims have it now.
I recently bought a ram 1500 Laramie 2022 and for the most part it's a good truck but I do think the body moves a little too much. Not sure if you call that body roll when driving or just rocking back and forth but I wish there was less movement in the cab. Does having air suspension on the truck solve that problem?
@Captain_Brown_Beard
Жыл бұрын
You will have more problems to worry about then that trust me lol. I have a 2019 5th gen with 40k miles and just had the ZF8 trans replaced due to harsh shifting. Your rear window frame will crack and leak, your power mirror motors will fail and plenty of other annoying things that you have to pay the dealership to update.
@briandonald

My ‘22 Laramie has air ride and I don’t notice any body roll. I’ve never driven one without air ride so not sure if that makes a difference or not.
Hey Ben can you tell me if the 2023 Laramie has rear RECLINING seats? I couldn't tell from the video. If not, could you tell me which 2023 trims or package options DO have the rear reclining seats? I can't seem to get a straight answer from my local dealers...... Thanks!

I feel like my ram 2017 1500 5.7 with 392 gears lately has been feeling a little sluggish when taking off. 69k miles full synthetic oil Royal purple and never used anything lower than 89 octane gas. Any ideas?

this one looks badass
I mean the 3.0 hurricane would be welcomed, as long as it isnt a premium priced engine. Good god the 2023 Rams have gotten expensive. I just built and priced out a Laramie sport with the same options (2022 and 2023) there’s about a $4k difference. Not only is the base price higher, it seems they’ve cut some standard features like the trailer hitch, and every individual option now costs more too… ($72k vs $76k when very well equipped)

@@ubeuonly a fully loaded Silverado RST 4x4 5.3 with basically every option comes out to $66k. Thats the direct competitor to the Laramie sport. $10k less. The F150 Lariat sport is within a grand or two of the Laramie when similarly equipped - they fell into the same trap as Ram, I agree with you on that. Im not a Chevy fanboy by any means, just stating observations based on their build and price tools online. The Silverado appears to be the best value feature for feature.
