No a year and half ago. I ordered a Loaded Ram 1500 4x4 Limited Longhorn. With the 5.7 Hemi ( no stop and go junk for me). Air ride, Power running boards, 360 camera, 12 inch screen, split rear tailgate ect.. It MSRP at $70,890. And with the discounts from Ram, and the dealer. I walked out the door at $58,890. And a FREE 10 year -75,000 mile. Bumper to bumper warranty. I carried over from my trade in. Now the same truck is $81,130 dollars. And the discounts are only $3,500. So the same truck today is $18,740 dollars more.

For those who have an issue with this trucks price. It’s not just a truck but a luxury vehicle. All major manufacturers offer a top end luxury truck model. Prices are on par with this one. Let’s look at these vehicles through a different lens. They are pricy but it’s not for every pickup truck seeker. For reference, the 2013 Mercedes-Benz S-Class originally had a starting sticker price of $95,545, with the range-topping S-Class S 65 AMG Sedan 4D starting at $215,005. The Ram has power, and amenities on par with the 2023 S-Class and look how much it cost in 2013, 10 years ago. A 1993 Chevy Suburban 1500 Travel-Time package could run you close to $45,000 fully loaded 20 years ago. What did you get? 205 horse power, lots of wood grain, video game, 13” TV, 4 bucket seats, no air bags, modest 4 channel ABS, and lots of thing plastic. In 1991, Dodge released the 1992 Viper for $53,000 plus. That didn’t mean everyone wanting a performance vehicle had to purchase it. Most folks got the Daytona, Laser, 3000 GT, or Stealth. The Viper showed up originally putting out 400 HP at 13 MPG. The Ram Limited is 395 hp getting 19 mpg avg. 4 corner air ride suspension, glass cockpit, HUD, airbags everywhere, leather, 19 speakers, auto lights, 360 cameras, smart cruise control, abs, traction control, 4x4 (multiple modes), lane departure warning, collision warning, parking assistance, with the ability to tow & haul cargo. Now, everything has gone up and this may not be the truck for you. There are several other options from other manufacturers to used products you choose from.

Charge more for the truck after they took chrome off door handles, and woodgrain off the steering wheel. Go figure.🤔🙄🙄🤔

The 19 bighorn with eqp 2 package had chrome handle inserts, a cd/mp3 player and no one got shafted outta their heating steering wheel or seats lmao. Oh... and they were 44k back then lmao

The Limited is nice specially the night Editions. I wish they had more colour options for it though.

Just bought mine yesterday, coming from a 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT X31 4x4 Diesel. So far I'm enjoying all the tech inside this vehicle.

I built out a ‘23 Laramie that’s 99% the same as my ‘22 and the MSRP is about 5 grand more than mine was. It’s getting crazy 😂

Wow prices have gone up big time. Mine is a 2020 with the panoramic sunroof, wood in the steering, 3.92 gear, RamBox and all the chrome metal bumpers, which still looks new and to me it makes the front beefier. MSRP was $69890 and trust me I pay way, way less than that and at 0% interest. At that time no one was buying though. Yeah, it is missing the etorque, and the all digital instrument cluster, but still.

I looked at one at the OKC Auto Show yesterday. Love the new cluster.

Prices have shot way up. I have a 20 and paid way less. I love it but my biggest gripe is the dash. Yes the leather looks great but mine has almost completely lifted giving a wavy look like it has water damage. Ram said "this was the first we've heard of that happening" which is COMPLETE BS because there are tons of forums and they said it wasn't covered under warrant but I could go to an upholstery shop and get it fixed. Pretty stupid considering I've barely put 25k miles on it. Overall though, I love it. Color options are limited so I wrapped it green to stand out. I should have put that money towards fixing the dash but I bought a cover for it in the meantime

Does the limited with air suspension have less body roll than a ram without?

Compared to an F150 it is a good deal. $76k is a loaded Lariat or base Platinum F150. Limited is $85k.

Sticking with my Ram 2500 for now...I've only owned it for 18 years. Maybe I'll sell it when it hits the 20 year mark, down grade to a 1500....maybe not.

So there’s no outlet in the bed? Only with the Ram boxes?

Insurance on my ‘22 Laramie isn’t bad at all here in Michigan (Progressive) We do have 3 vehicles which gives us a multi-vehicle discount though.

2023 Ram 1500 Limited Hemi eTorque Crew Cab 4X4!

I have a 2019 Longhorn Ram 1500 which was the first year of the redesign with every option selected and the MSRP on it was 63k and the dealer was offering 10k off. So no i think luxury trucks are in an insane place right now. Prices need to drop 20%

I have 2019 Laramie and it loaded. I bought it over two yrs ago it’s awesome. Sticker was over $63,000 i got it for about $50,000. It has pretty much everything this limited has except the better leather, power running boards and the four corner air suspension. I hit a bit lucky i’m thinking by the looks of these expensive trucks .

Dodge Ford Chevy Toyota GMC all to high. How about a truck with ac,heat radio4/4 crew cab that no other frills. No screen heated seats and steering wheel. They cost more than most peoples house.

Small detail, but I am not happy they dropped the wood trim portion of the steering wheel.

We are going to see less of those on the road that's for sure. 76 grand and it doesn't even have a sunroof, and it's a 1500? That's nuts. I have a dealer build up from 2021 for a 2500 sport edition DIESEL LARAMIE for 74,000 before any discounts.

I don't need this at all, but it is what the American companies build best. If I won the lottery, I would get one instead of a Bentley. Similar gas mileage. Until then, I'll stick with my Corolla 😅
