Great review as always. I got the saloon early of this year and been so happy with it. Back then the price was still at 21x ish. Considering what I get in return with 5 years Free Service & Warranty, it's a great value. It's just so special and you're right, it's rare. Makes it even more special.

Great review - as a Mazda6 touring owner I completely agree - it's a very nice car to drive. I think the petrols are a bit down on power. My 2017 2.2 diesel (220 bhp / 500 nm) runs perfectly, both on motorway and B-roads. I just got wireless Android Auto from an easy-to-install adapter, so infotainment feels more modern now - I rarely use the original mzd-connect software, but the mzd-dial + buttons are perfect. No fumbling around with touch-screen. Great !

This is the only estate that doesn't make one look like a 70 year old. Mazda did a thing with the 6. And you, sir, are among the best car reviewers on the internet.

as mazda owner, i do agree 99.5% with aiman... another 0.5% is the car is eye-catching design .. for me, the great exterior design, combine with modern minimalist elegant design on the interior plus with great handling,good power..

I hv always prefer something different vs the msian’s crowd. These mazda estate is currently in my shortlist to replace my 6 y/o passat B8.

Is it possible to replace the space saver tyre with a full size tyre? Looks like there might be some space to. For a car that's designed for road trips, a full size spare tyre is a no brainer...

The seats are less comfortable, the dashboard is different, but mainly you won’t have the GVC and upgraded gearbox modules which makes the car more drivable. Try looking at the models post 2017 onwards.

Could you please review and compare this with SUBARU Outback? It is a car that I thought is ideal for family and my dream car to own.

The sedan looks better in my opinion , also , sedan has way better rear leg room with its longer wheelbase... gorgeous car nevertheless

It's about the same for cabin & cargo space, but definitely has greater agility & refinement.

Cabin is much nicer than CX5, also drive way better and has lower consumption. No brain to buy SUV.

where can i get this mazda 6 wagon car showroom in kl ? ..cause seremban showroom doesn’t have this car

Even in KL hard to come by. Got mine at the Glenmarie showroom but have yet to see the IPM models be available for test drive since.

SUV with AWD. Space, and still survive during flash flood. On a practical note, unless you do east west highway to use the driving dynamics, traffic jams will be a problem. Then visibility is also a problem when you everyone around you is using a SUV.

Heavier due to the added roofing over the boot. Yes, shorter wheelbase.

Most people in KV buy suv / tall vehicle because of frequent flash flood 😂

Mazda has some pretty good cars but the Mazda 6 is getting old. The current Mazda 6 model is easily more than 12 years old. Normal Japanese cars will be totally upgraded every 6 years or so. It looks like Mazda is not able to update the model since it is quite a small car company as compared against Toyota or Honda. So the constant face-lift.

You need SUVs to survive the floods. This wagon won't survive.

Lovely car but the asking price is wayyy above its punching weight.
