Good comparison! Kind of surprised Kia doesn’t offer a hybrid option for the Telluride. People are already buying it well over MSRP so a Telluride Hybrid would sell very well.

Very excellent and unbiased reviews... i personally am going with the highlander platinum because it's just for myself wife and 2 kids 😁 so that space in trunk is perfect not needing to use 3rd row. But the telluride is a VERY comfortable car.

What's going on Darius 😊! Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I have to say I'm torn between both vehicles cause I like them both. But given that my mother just purchased a 22' Toyota Highlander a month ago I'm in love with it. We just came back from SC and I must say it handled very well. On a full tank of gas, we only used half a tank which I have to say very impressive for a V-6, and that's using "Plus" fuel. Now you're right about the third row OMG it's not comfortable at all lol. Overall love it love it. Now I gotta get my hands on a Telluride 😊

We bought a 2022 Telluride and it has giving us many problems, I guess we got defected one! Soon after just a month, it stared leaking oil, so we took it back and they supposedly quickly solved the problem, but it was still leaking, so back it went for a solid two months. They ended up putting on a new motor. Well three months later the sensors are going crazy about a false coalition detection. We take it back and they supposedly fixed two recalls. On the way back the sensors are popping up again. 😡 Its back at the shop. We are definitely filing up a lemon law. They will not swap the vehicle, they just want to keep fixing the issues.

I love the Telluride. It looks modern and is very well designed. It definitely has the "cool" factor. The Highlander looks more classic. But in a few years from now both vehicles will feel dated. While I prefer the Telluride in almost every category, the most important category to me is long-term reliability and cost. And for that, no one can argue the Highlander holds a major advantage. If you keep your vehicles for 6+ years, then Toyota is the way to go. If you keep your vehicles for less than that, then reliability really doesn't matter, so buy whatever vehicle you like the most.

Now if only Toyota would do the same with their oil consumption issues, questionable electronics and premature turbo failures. But they won't, because it's Toyota 🤷🏻‍♂️ They always look for workarounds when it comes to warranty repairs. I've experienced it with my 3 Toyotas.

Gonna spend big money on a feel? I think you meant to say Toyota feels too....reliable. That's why they are a top selling brand & why people buy Toyota. Just ask anyone who has a 2002 Camry with 400k on it. Kia can talk to me in 25 years if they earned it. That said the switch to a 4-banger is a downgrade for 2023 Highlander in feel, sound, and pairing to the frame of the vehicle. The V6 in the 2022 Highlander is the most refined version of one of the best engines ever put on the road. I'll drive my 2022 Highlander into the ground.

I do not buy Toyota's any longer. While their car prices go up every year, they do not offer significant upgrades to justify the price increase. Take this Highlander for instance.
