We need more "disc golfy" courses like this on the pro tour. This course definitely showcases skill and punishes lax shots.

I know having a good mix of courses is important but I just feel like we need most tournaments to be played on this level of scenery.

What’s funny is the city I live in thinks they have a top tier course. They think it’s the best in the State of Florida and I wouldn’t even put it in the top 7. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Variety in courses tends to mean wooded vs open, power vs technical. Every course can be beautiful.

PO’Reilly commentary mixed with CCDG style is all time awesome disc golf..keep it going guys!

Central Coast's coverage is so good. The drone fly overs and the chill commentary is so nice!

Another example of fans and volunteers leaving there crap on the ground an the professionals suffer due to lack of poor judgement.

Good to hear Iron Hills shouted out. Sad that that course is no longer a staple of the tour. That course should have stayed on the elite level and should be a site for future majors with a few tweaks.

This course really making them put up work, not Nevin level but still nice to see it's not a walk in the park for almost every player.

The jacket definitely cut it short. I'm not sure if it would have hit the rock or not, but it seemed like there was at least a chance for it to come back.

the jacket didn't even stop the disc, the volunteer's drink did. just 100% stupidity by the volunteer and probably by the TO. This happens all the time so about time they learn something? Why would you ever think having your shit one foot outside the OB line would be fine? Next time lie down next to your shit when you see the shot coming in or swat it down to make sure it doesn't to back in

This is a cool course, but having OB lines at natural bunkers seems a bit dumb to me. Artificial OB doesn't bother me, but double punishing bad shots is tough.

I think Calvin has found the hair length that wins the most for him.

Elite series caliber course. The feel of a traditional golf course layed out with distances for disc golf. I believe we will move toward these the types of courses as the game progresses.

Yeah agreed. This type of course is the future. Really exciting to watch and challenging even for the top pros!

Man, between Paul catching an attitude and the new way @jomezpro is tracking scores, I’m genuinely preferring the alternative productions this season, even with fewer fancy graphics. Well done CCDG.

I feel like he just plays through more cynical seeming, however usually realistic. You’ll notice Germ often balance it out with some humor immediately following. But I do feel like Germ and Uli would go at it if Nate didn’t play the mediating peace maker of the trio 😂

This might be the first course that I have viewed that I wouldn't really care to play. Don't get me wrong, it looks beautiful but it doesn't look too fun for someone of my skill to play.

There's actually three courses on the property. The college DG Nationals are held here too and their course is usually the Boulder layout.

Yeah this used to be a ball golf course I remember passing it all the time 8 or so years ago they just bought the property and rearranged everything. You can actually rent carts though and use them for the course my buddy went last year and said it's so long that it's worth it.

On hole 5 the fairway OB should be just outside the rocks IMO. Those are visual markers for players.

Can anyone explain the stats shown for each player at the beginning of the round, fairway hits, birdies etc. Like are they for the round we are about to see, the entire season, or what do those stats refer to?

I think it's for the season given the way they mentioned how well Calvin is doing this season when his stats came up. I agree they should probably label it though haha

Yeah marion actually has a Bigfoot festival it's basically become the towns mascot.

Poor Big Jerm's drive on 5 hits the guys Jacket. When you are a course official you can't leave personal objects so close to OB. Could have rolled back in bounds. Put your stuff in the middle of the OB not 1 ft from the OB line. I've seen this 3 times in PDGA tournaments within the last year. Ricky was probably saying "Too bad it stayed OB. When I was at GMO at Brewster Ridge in final round in 2022, I hit a guys umbrella and it kept me in bounds. So sorry."

This course should have been the Elite Series event, and the course from last weekend should have been the Silver Series event!! That course that they played last weekend was BORING.... it was just a dumb course and extremely boring to watch. this course is so so so much better than that one was.

Love the Boulders course but the OB is so annoying on this one I'm not even sure it looks fun to play.Must play facility though. Fun fact: this area was almost part of the Smoky Mountains National park, the 2 areas they considered for the park was the current location or an NC-only stretch from Linville Gorge to Mt Mitchel which would've included this

Everyone talking about the spotter's stuff on hole 5, but that was a bad shot. A pro player shouldn't be relying on a lucky rollback to stay in bounds, and there is no way to even be sure it would have.

That's the worst I've ever seen Jerm react to a bad round. Too hyped because of the location?

I’m no rocket scientist but wouldn’t it be better to just give the spotters ONE flag. The red flag. If it’s in they don’t do anything. Only red flag if out. Every tournament I see these guys struggling to choose which flag. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Great suggestion. IMO we barely even need any flag. You walk up to your disc, you see it's OB or not.

Good coverage/commentary. Seems like a really crumby course setup. The tight OBs for no reason other than to be penal must be terrible to play. The opposite of fun. Thought this game was supposed to be fun?Absolutely distracts from my viewing pleasure as well. And the par 3s that most of the field can’t even dream of reaching, what a laugh! Too bad, looks like an amazing canvas, on which could be a great course.

Anyone else enjoy watching koling go OB every hole? 😂

This is soooooo sad. Look at Big Jerm. Loosing all the fun in a game he really loves. And why? Not because he is throwing bad. Just because somebody drew a line and stated: "You are not allowed to lay here. It's is OB, you know." Reminds me of getting a ticket for wrong parking. And that on a course with many stones which provoke skip and a hillside which provokes rollers. On some courses there is more OB on the sign than Fairway. And you really like that? I don't. A pain to see players get punished by a roll of dice...

Hate seeing Jerm on tilt. Feels like watching your friend lose it on the course.
