I mean ever since they started syncing the intro song "click" with e.g. a disc hitting the chains, you knew the sound guy put that little extra into it.

Props to CCDG for the coverage. I'm pretty amazed that we aren't seeing coverage from any of the other media outlets for this one. Round 3's leader and chase cards are going to be fire tomorrow - it would be great if we could watch both of them, even if it's in post-prod.

I think the drives to the left on one are intentional. They're avoiding the branches on the right, and staying out of the brush just short of the basket. There's a clear long putt from the left side. Small birdie chance, but also a much smaller bogey chance

I miss them too; in the live coverage they keep saying how it takes the “luck” out of the game, but I feel like those wooded holes are all super fair compared to some wooded courses on tour

This course kicks my butt so it's nice to see these dudes handling it so well.

Dude, Cole's 400ft Hole 3 shot- it just seems like he can't throw it soft enough to go just 400ft. It looks like my 100ft upshot in terms of effort.

It would be awesome if you guys added chapters to your videos. It makes skipping around a lot more convenient when trying to rewind or jump to a certain hole.

Hole 2 and Nate Sexton is furthest off the tee, and closest after 2. On a card with 3 of the hardest throwers in the world.

Great coverage, not sure I understand why hole 8 is the prettiest hole in disc golf though. Just looked like a basket in the woods. I must be missing something. I mean don't get me wrong this is my favorite course.

Would be cool to see how many throws each player is on during each hole.

Because on hole's 9 and 14 on CCDG FPO coverage, as well as hole 9 in the practice round by Connor O'Reilly and Aaron Gossage, the bottom ring got caught on the screw head that's normally an inch below it, and spit out multiple putts. Basically the chains attached to the outer/bottom ring acted as a wall, instead of absorbing some of the kinetic energy and allowing the disc to fall inside the basket. All 3 missed putts were point blank, the bottom ring barely moved, and the discs kicked back out.

I love to see them rollers fail.

What makes a tournament silver series, vs elite or C

The Disc Golf Pro Tour determines which events make it into their tour and then from there determine which events will be Elite Plus events, Elite Events, Silver Events, and Playoff events. Generally, they look at things like course quality, quality of the venue (location, parking, etc.) quality of cell signal for live coverage, who is running the event, how long the event has been running, and ability to raise money for the prize pool to determine where the event should be placed on the tour.

All right. Now were in it. DGN coverage sucks. Central Coast Disc Golf might be the best I haven't decided........OK I've decided...they are best.

IIRC, Cole did pattern his form and playstyle after Paul McBeth.

Love that you guys are back doing tournaments that the others think are beneath them. Some horrible business decisions being made by the likes of Jomez and Gatekeeper these days. GK Pro has turned into doing the played out OTB skins matches. Thank you CCDG

The DGPT needs to mandate a basket and all the tournaments on tour should be exactly the same. You'd think they'd have done this already but nope.. still having Pro's putting into garbage baskets at certain courses..

Good point. I think what he was going for is often on post-produced coverage (and on live) the top 2 cards in round one are followed, and they're sometimes both called feature cards. I've heard "first feature" and either "second" or "last" feature card before. At least that's my guess on why he said that.

Sadly i've lost some interest for these great products, after "the life guru" Perkins has to be everywhere. Well at least i have more free time for something else. Really miss the great old days, you guys 🙉

Great commentary, but try not to spoil things like reveeling birdiepercentage beforehand. Kind of ruins if a little bit when you know the odds.
