Yes, I agree with you. But some drivers in the fast lane are so stupid. Idiots never look back when they drive down the highway. This is incredibly important for safety when the speed is too high.

Yep there are a lot of those terrible drivers who came from another galaxy and Ford made a model for them. Unfortunately they drive other cars too.

yeah the typr r is heavier but not by an insane amount. almost makes close to 100 more HP. i have a genesis g70 3.3tt. i can beat both cars in a straight line thats it lol

Is it scary at 270kph? I think till 240 it is quite stable which is very good.

Just imagine had Honda made this with a 2.5 liter engine that made around 400HP. would have been a beast. Mercedes made the 190e 2.5 16V with a 2.5 liter engine, Subaru did on their WRX, Audi did on their RS3, Mercedes on their AMG A45. Come on Honda.. Give us a 2.5 liter engine with 400HP

You can easily tune it to 400hp, let’s just hope that Honda doesn’t ruin the type r like they did the 2.0t accord and v6 accord. Knowing them they’ll make it a hybrid type r

My stock engine R is making 640hp with off the shelf bolt-on parts - Honda doesn't need to offer it with 400hp when you can easily get 700hp out of it with off the shelf parts on a stock engine.

Honda hasn't had a 2.5L for 20 years, why would they do that now? Much easier to turbocharge a K series, which is what they did...

Nein du täuschst Dich nicht - schnellster ist der FK2R, dann FK8 nonOPF, dann FK8 OPF und der FL5 dürfte gerade aus genauso schnell sein wie der FK8 mit OPF bedenke aber das der FL5 dazu noch eine längere Übersetzung hat.

@@Earl_VTEC fk8 und fl5 verwenden dasselbe 2.0, sie haben es optimiert, um dem fl5 etwa 10 mehr an der Kurbel zu geben als sein Vorgänger, auch entschuldige ich mich, wenn mein Deutsch nicht stimmt... es ist nicht meine muttersprache

FK 8 beschleunigt besser im 6. Gang (kürzer übersetzt und leichter); hat bei angezeigten 275 km/k aber nur 100km Reichweite, d.h. man kann das 20 Min. lang machen, und ist letztlich nicht schnell unterwegs. Vielleicht ist der FL5 in der Hinsicht der bessere Kompromiss. Aerodynamisch unklar: FL5 pro: glattere Karosserie, aber con: breitere Reifen, mehr Motorraumdurchströmung.
Die Elektrofizierung des Autos insgesamt , ist den Hot Hatch sein Tod .

Der FK8 non OPF - Ist auch schneller von 100-200 - das Fahrzeug ist gebaut um auf dem Track und auf der Landstraße jedem um die Ohren zu fahren :-D
