I was told as a child that our names were about our history. What gets me is the name of the NasCar driver Dick Trickle, Who would ever name there son that. Just like SnotGrass. When I was told names came about with what our forefathers did I asked "Hey mom where did Handcock come from"? She never answered......

Electronic timing. Only the Super Stocks are an eliminator class though. But the orange trays with the clocks are down between the cones in the center of the track at the finish line. If it was one of the other classes they are all low ET so who gets to the finish first doesn’t matter. It’s only side by side so there’s more for the crowd to watch.
