These are king of the hillclimes that’s for sure. Never seen anything that could get up high walls like these cars. The unlimited class cars are crazy fast and can go up just about anything! Or they do in America! They sometimes use sand but usually it’s just a big high wall.

@@hjaltigylfason1077 most of the time it is different terrain as this is lose and not firm dirt or rocks. well both types of racing is cool.

I've never seen actual recaps of formula Offroad or knew anything about it. Great video and very cool!

I was present at the 2014 world cup in Iceland. Really spectacular in person, and walking through the pits to see the cars up close was great.

It looks super-dry. But I wonder... If somebody blows an engine and drops a load of oil on the course, do the Marshals have to run on and sprinkle it with cement dust and sand? [Hey, I'm just kidding...🤭]

Most likely Chevy V8 LS's or Big blocks.

I used to really enjoy watching these events when they used to drive on that pea gravel material but them just climbing on dirt seems a lot less satisfying.....

My stock Nissan Armada on 37's (used a sledge hammer) can do this with a wife and 3 kids in the back. Just use 4 psi.
