Love the action BCP brings of the MRA. I'm looking forward to seeing more great monster truck and dirt drag action in 2024.

@backchannelproductions, any chance of making a separate introduction for mud and tough truck events please?

I know nothing about this form of motorsports, but I'm amazed with it. The question I have is, how important is it really to have a 4x4 front axle when the tires almost never touch the ground during the run. Also are they running two different gear ratios to make up for the difference in the tire size from front to rear? Love the channel!

The way these are tuned you do need the front wheel drive. It helps keep the vehicle straight. We’ve had them take off in rear wheel only and make hard right turns into the rails. Also upon setting the front back down, you’re carving through loam or dirt or grass, having that extra pull is essential to most.

@@BackChannelStudios Thanks for the fast reply! I didn't think about having the fronts pulling would help with turning, but now you say that, makes total sense.
