BMW X7 is the way to go 🙌

The X7 has had remote start since it’s inception. My 2020 does remote start by clicking the lock button 3 times.

The front headlights design reminds of the Hyundai Santa Fe/Palisade.

Great review! How about the m60 version of the new x7?

This car has a secret "dog mode". If you set up the AC to precondition before you leave... the vehicle will keep the AC rolling, you can leave the vehicle and lock the car. The AC stays on for your pet. I've tested it up to 20min it could probably go more I haven't tried. Only brand out there besides tesla that can do this.

I was skeptical of BMW going with the bi-level lighting up front, especially after seeing the new 7-Series. But due to the scale and frontal area of the larger X7, it works, at least on this white/black model. I also appreciate the interior updates, though that center console with black piano plastic and suede will look atrocious not too long after initial ownership. The BMW B58 is such an awesome engine and yes, better than their V8s(sans M-cars) in quality and reliability. Glad to see the power bump. And yes, an MB GLS would be more expensive and so ungainly in its looks.

@@xAwesomeGamers idk I’ve sat in the latest GLS and the interior quality doesn’t seem better. More cheaper plastics. Plus the BMW has 5 zone climate control and third row heated seats. So overall I think the X7 is more luxurious. Mercedes Benz interiors just aren’t the same lately and BMW has been ahead lately when it comes to interior quality.

Very polarizing looks. It grows on you. I pre-ordered the X7 40 with the M sport package and dynamic handling. And up until it arrived I was certain this is a HORRIBLE idea. Boy it’s the best SUV I have ever had. Its very potent V6 loves to rev and is well matched to an 8 speed ZF automatic transmission. It’s uncannily quite and corners with more confidence than my 2022 Sclass 580 😮. My only regret is I should have gotten the V8 60M.

We have one in Brooklyn grey at our dealership, also same pricing at MSRP no markups, and man this X7 is such an improvement over the previous design. An amazing SUV that makes me excited for where BMW is headed into the future

In 2022 the X7 sold more than the Mercedes GLS and Audi Q7. A lot of dealers these sell within a week of getting them. One of the most popular full size luxury SUV’s.

I wish that second row fold flat with the captain chair configuration. I love my x7 but this is the only thing that is very disappointing.

Palisade offers better value for the money though.

Mercedes won’t be shocked by this. They respect it. They have a mature & healthy competition.

🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷👏🏻, Where is the iDrive pro the autopilot on this one? Sad, doesnt have it, or didn't come with, what a shame because on these these newer cars it is so good the car can almost pretty much drive itself and imagine you're coming back from a long drive, can have the car drive for you, for you kind of, on the way back home also must have the 360 camera, you know, so there are so many things that are missing on some cars these days. If I was to get into, I would definitely get the 360 camera and the iDrive pro, whatever it is called, so that the car can drive for yourself when tired, great cameras etc...

The 23" wheel will work fine as long as you don't drive more than 10K/year and only drive in perfect road in perfect condition; otherwise, it'll pop with maybe a broken axle too and hope you have a strong back because the ride will be harsher. But, it'll look great on your driveway to the NASCAR/ Racetrack wannabee crowd.

V8 60 M. Yes please - Go for it. I got the 40i M sport which is incredible for a straight 6. However the V8 which pulls like a freight train is much better. Rims; the 23’s look fantastic. But it’s you live in DC like I do you’d may want to consider 22’s.

All the people saying it looks like a hyundai is funny, i have one in all black with m sport and people actually came up to me to complimented my x7 nobody confuses it with a hyundai for sure

Negative things for 2023: Some people don’t like the new front end design Some people don’t like how the climate controls are integrated in the screen There is less ambient lighting The new front row makes it look a lot less “bmw like” There are new warning chimes I prefer the old

Old x7 used to be like filled with ambient lighting for the front row and it looked awesome. There is less ambient lighting in the front row and I think throughout the cabin

I don't want to drop 90k plus to be mistaken for a Hyundai. I don't get how a push button shifter is associated with a "performance" SUV.

I'm really not liking this new flat dash with a big screen sitting on top of it look everyone is going to lately.

Yup. And now that I have the 2023 BMW x7 I love it..also-got the Lexus LC 500 to replace my fav. SL450-sorry MB And I love the LC too.

Everyone had their own opinion and I think personally this new design looks good on the x7 the new 7 seres the new 4 series or the m3 but on the ix…..it looks absolutely hideous

As long as BMW has that hideous grill, Mercedes has nothing to worry about 😅

Absolutely gorgeous and a bad ass design. And sadly…I’m NOT going to renew a new lease with BMW I’m going to have to upgrade to something where they know how to do elegant design and real buttons This is a hideous vehicle..and so is the new 7 and so is the new M3 and M4 Kudos to the M5 that is an amazing design. I’m so disappointed…We’ve had four Bimmers and this will be my last until they learn that most of us don’t want to drive ugly cars with touch screen nonsense in the interiors

The X7 is complete TRASH. My sister paid $90k for a brand new 2023 x7. In less than a month the car completely dies while driving. BMW kept it for 2 weeks to fix the transmission. After two weeks they said that the car cant be fixed. Turns out their is a forum of other buyers who are having the same isdues

The x7 does look better than the 7 series in terms of the split headlights. However, it's still not a looker by any means. Enough to grow on you but not to blow you away. The line flow is non existent between the DRLs and the high beams. Lack of homogeneity = Lame design. Hyundai does it very well. They could learn a thing or two from them.

Honestly X7 looks stupid. This trend with thin lights is annoying, and interior doesn't even remind me of BMW but mercedes. My opinion but I don't like it.

I don't like this design, it's not as luxurious as a European car but like a Korean car design
