Who in their right mind would not put tow hooks on a truck especially the off road versions. I have personally had to use the tow hooks on my truck a couple of times. They stopped making the V8 because of emissions. The U.S. is aiming to having hybrid options for 50% of the market before 2030. Aside from that, the fact that the V6 makes more power and spoiler alert: the best mpg of any truck if you get the hybrid option, there's no loss. Torque and HP are higher with the 6 than the 8.

@@A1621994S I'm not sure just how similar is that 3.5 Ecoboost from GT with one that Ford uses in their trucks. I know that it's based on the same engine that they put in Raptor, and so far that engine had it's share of issues. It has been on the unreliable side. Also I'm pretty sure thaf GT internal components are forged so they can withhold all that power. You are comparing apples and oranges. In other words you are comparing high performance engine to every day working mule engine. While smaller displacements turbocharged engines in trucks can be reliable, they can't be as reliable as those old Tundra V8 engines. Like I said, those engines can run 200-300K miles without any major issues.....if any.
