2022 ToC Squash Doubles Exhibition - Team Ramy Ashour vs. Team Peter Nicol
Спорт
Enjoy the crazy shenanigans of Team Ramy Ashour versus Team Peter Nicol during the J.P. Morgan Tournament of Champions “Kings of New York” doubles exhibition on the Squash Engine Glass Show Court erected in Vanderbilt Hall, Grand Central Terminal. Slotted on April 30, 2021 in between our Men’s and Women’s Challenger Finals, the mayhem ensues as both teams try to outshoot and bedazzle each other while being overseen by none other than former World No. 1 Nick Matthew! See what may be the only moment in PSA history when Peter Nicol and Ramy Ashour find themselves alone on the court playing each other! Listen to Ramy’s emotional love of New York during his interview and Peter Nicol reliving his old pre-match routines at the terminal. Also featured are teammates Osama Khalifa and Jamal Callender.

I didn’t recognize Ramy at all. He’s still in good shape by normal standards, obviously not in pro squash shape, but he looks to be having a blast on court which is great to see. As a mid-30s dad, it’s very relatable. Past your prime physically but still love a good hard session

It’s crazy how you truly see how fit they have to be in the pro circuit when they stop playing professionally and lose their physique
Great to see Ashour and Nicol going strong. Nicol still working the ball around so well.
Its amazing to see players after retirement Nicol still looks like a top 100 player easily, Nick Mathew could still crack the top 50 without a doubt. Ramy is looking more like Hisham these days but those skills are on show nothing but class.
Ashour has still got it. The hands never go away.
Come back Rami! We miss you!!
16:39 the volley...

@@jhwheuer Quite a scary coincidence. I am 57 and stopped playing about 10 years ago as well. League matches and playing almost every day since college took it out of knees and hips. I am still able to play golf though, for now - luckily.
Super happy ❤❤👏👏👏👏👏
Jamal Callender is a very very good player and in some of these rallies vs Nicol/Ashour he's made to look like an amateur. That's how good these guys are.

It’s still fun to watch Ramy and Nicol
love you jamal
It’s so good to see ramy. He looks very different obviously our on a few extra pounds from his playing days.
Mind blowing skill just goofing off.
Nick Matthew spotted!! 9:33
Why are the players not wearing eyewear. As it is a rule to wear eye wear in doubles matches,

That's more hardball doubles.
God not for the faint hearted and definitely not for your typical non pro social game players if you want to keep your eyeballs
Nicol is buff as they say. Good to see Ramy again too. Only way to win these rallies is hit the nick.........lol
Why not play on a real doubles court 😭😭😭
Ramy might now have a 'dad bod' and new haircut, but he has lost none of his tremendous skill - and his ability to read the game - at 10:54 he is taking off before Peter Nicol has even hit the ball!
Why are the players allowed to play without eyewear as it is stipulated in World squash doubles rules all must put on eye wear to play. Why nobody in US Play doubles never wear them.!!!!
Cool, but I prefer racquetball.😎

racquetball, american racquetball is not even a sport! you see people walking around more than hitting the ball.
