Nicol was just a physical machine with patience and pure will to win. Seeing a prime him against Nick Matthew would be almost as good as a prime Ashour vs Power

finally one commentator (the one younger with scottish/irish accent) that actually explains sometimes what is happening on the court and what tactics player goes or should pursue, contrary to all those "amazing squash", "great rally", "crowd loves it" etc. and nothing more

The commentators of today also go into tactics, but they are also great at getting people that don't know the sport that well interested. I think they strike a good balance.

Love to see Lincou. Wish we could see more when he was dominent (2004-5). World victory coming from match ball down must have been quite a thrilling match. (love Nicol too, but easier to find). Thanks

Fascinating to observe how the game has evolved over 17 years. Nicol, for example, has a huge backswing that you just don't seen anymore. Lincou is strong as a rock from the middle... a style you can see in Gaultier and Castanget, but something that seems less important to the newest generation of players. May the evolution continue! Thanks for posting PSA ;-)

Are you sure you aren't getting mixed up with the fact that Nicol is left handed. Forehand to forehand and backhand to backhand don't seem that different in size.

The racquet technology has improved making the large backswing superfluous (plus the ball is much faster so you don't have as much time).

Love the brick-like game stats and the graphics 😂 It's quite interesting seeing a classic PSA match, with the commentators and camera shots from back then, and comparing them to the modern ones. Plus seeing lil Olivia B-C was a nice surprise. She was so cute!
