Heart warming to see that bugs stick to Maybach front decal as well as to ' 98 Corolla's.

That's outrageous that it doesn't offer wireless smart phone mirroring when some dirt cheap cars do.

Amazing detail video

Do these vehicles (Range Rover, Rolls Royce etc) include noise cancellation through the speakers? My 2008 Accord V6 Luxury had it and it reduced the cabin noise levels by 10dB.

fun to watch these machines which I could only afford in dreams.

Great review Paul, the suspension feature is awesome. Is it only me or is it in general, the exterior is so bling and the front looks terrible, something like an after market work. Exterior and interior are Mike's apart.

It kind of looks like they have thrown the Autobarn Christmas catalogue of body enhancing chrome and mesh at it. Pretty vulgar if I'm honest. That said the body control and ride comfort as shown looks truly sumptuous.

It would have looked ok for the price if you had like a gazillion buttons and nobs in their and you would swim in your never ending journey of discovering all its quirks and features but unfortunately the screen makes it look like any other interior

This car really sips fuel especially when carsales tested the Yaris GR at 13l per 100km😂

Whilst one's chauffeur would in all probability prefer a Rolls Royce as his master's Statement Car, this Mercedes Maybach would in all probability be approved for driving to the milk bar or one's Gulfstream IX Business Jet

interesting there is no panic button on the remote. for such a high end car would have thought safety is paramount. there is one on a toyota camry

We don't really know. They're using a new suspension set up. It isn't riding on air springs.

Most HUDs are out of focus if they reflect off the windscreen as the windscreen is made of two sheets of glass laminated so you get double reflections. Without special and carefully designed engineering you can’t have it clear - certainly not from all angles unless it adjusts as you move your head position. This is why some manufacturers use pop up ones.

@@dirtygore Mazda uses a pop up rather than projecting on the double glazed windscreen.

When you can afford a GLS 600, you do not count cup holders as convenience of any sort

The reason they do not replace the Mercedes badge with Maybach is because Maybach is no longer considered as brand and it has merged in to a range of products within Mercedes.

I like super luxury opulent cars like this but I can't shake the feeling that they are just a huge con. Sure, you get a nice car but rich people are charged stupid amounts of money for paint, interior trim and other options which are just staggeringly overpriced. You're probably thinking "yeah who cares, they can afford it" yeah sure they can but if I was in the market for a luxury car, I wouldn't want to be completely ripped off. Plus, they depreciate so quickly in value and there's always a new model around the corner which they're going to buy straight away. They're taken for mugs. Not that I care, I just want to make the point as a guy who will never be able to afford this.

$360,000 car that will be on Carsales in 3 years' time for $20,000

That paint has an awful lot of orange peel! Also that 'chrome' is not chrome at all. It is chrome tape/transfer over plastic. Our GLS 500 was less than two years old when the fake chrome garnish around the tailpipes started peeling off.

Fixing this shatter on iphone will cost as much as new iphone, you should really consider Android device, they are way better and cheaper to fix.

Huge grill and a lot of chrome looks very outdated, yuck. Skinny and inbuilt indicators should be illegal, I know it's the trend but they're hard to see especially in direct sunlight.

Surprised at how ugly they made the exterior. I would just get the non-Maybach version as th standard car looks great. This looks like an aftermarket "pimp my ride" offering. Not elegant or attractive. Having lots of money doesn't mean you have taste and Maybach is counting on it

I really don't get this car... like why? maybe it's just my perspective... but it's really a passenger kinda car... it's not really family car... you don't really want kids with all those buttons... the car is not really great to drive... in my opinion it's a car best as a passenger... but it's so tight at the back... why don't people just get those luxury converted sprinters... probably cheaper but much more comfortable.
