@@HughRussell06 I mean yeah. Even if they wanted to use a Samsung tab, they could've let Samsung make one explicitly for the Maybach suiting the standards of the car. But here it seems they 'choose' to go with an old product instead.

At 3:22 that panel gap on the top of the B pillar is absolutely ridiculous and should be unacceptable on a car of this level. Then again, nowadays it seems like luxury is defined by the size of the screens a car has. However this does feel like a nice upgrade compared to the previous model.

Amazing vids all the time! Just FYI all; I'm pretty sure as to why this jam jar hasn't the MM logo; but Mercs standard 3 Pointed star is bcos; Maybach if you all remember stopped production and back then, there was never any mention of Mercedes on them (MM= Mercedes Maybach). So with the re-introduction of Maybach, but this time round starting with the all new S-class several years ago, it's an actual Merc S class, where as previously before ceasing production, Merc Maybach had their own car designs, but now the brand Maybach is etched on normal Mercs..like the S Class and my fav.. the MM Cabrolet!😊

As a chauffeur myself i rarely use any autonomous driving features. I drive a 2020 745Le and I feel the cruise control is a bit too harsh in braking and the lane assist just bounces you in the lane which causes roadsickness

americans will buy this car to drive themselves ,, this is the closest thing to the behemoth luxury sedans of the 60's - 80's (example cadillac fleetwoods/devilles/eldorados) ,,, and not surprisingly europe and asia who never experienced the luxury boat sedans era will use it mainly as a chauffer car

Fuel consumption doesn't matter unless the fuel tank isn't big enough... I mean, with 60l/100km you have to have half a ton of fuel onboard to travel 800km/500 miles... Although I suppose its highway consumption is a lot better than that

But I think Maybach is a kind of attaint on Mercedes , Mercedes should be confident on themselves S class is the best car in the world rather than rolls, They used to be so confident, so they get a high MSRP on S65 than flyIng spur. but when they produced Maybach it just like they say ： hey rich daddy in CHINA you see I streach our S class to show you we can compete with bentley， this is a bit of sad. FINALLY! The guys who built this car just get it. 2 screens upfront and that's it. With the driver display and the center console, there's absolutely no need for any more screens on the dashboard. The front looks clean and simple just like it should be. I personally really dislike the trend of sticking as many screens as you possibly can.

"On its own league"?? That's really very funny, conceirning the Rolls Royce Ghost technically and technologically now is totally outdated luxury car! Of course it makes a huge difference even for rich customers, paying "only" 220.000 Euros, Dollars or Pounds for a car like the Mercedes-Maybach, than more than 400.000 or up to 500.000 Euros, Dollars or Pounds for a similiarly specked Rolls Royce Ghost. These two models have totally different market positions, you dummy! The Mercedes-Maybach is a much better car in every thinkable way.

Totally agree with you. If I want to travel business class I would buy the s-class. If I want to travel first class I would buy a Rolls Royce Phantom. I really wish Mercedes took design cues from Maybachs of pre-WW2 and incorporated them into the modern Maybachs. From far away this looks like another s-class. What BMW did with rolls Royce is that they took the essence of rolls Royce cars from yesteryear and captured them in the cars we see today. Little suggestion if possible. How about trying an ‘emergency stop’? Like testing the brakes and see how smooth it is

Im my point of view v12 are smoothly but considering performance small engines power to weight ratio is high.so peformance cars engines at the downside trend..😎😎😎
