Nah, its better. Its like flying in a Jet. First class planes are still like your normal planes, crowded, noisy and bumpy. Plus all materials and seats are quite standard quality. The maybach is jet or yacht standard of quality and refinement. Dead silent, perfectly regulated temperature, absolutely isolated from the exterior, filled with noble materials, everything soft and anatomically aligned with your body.

Both brands are amazing and you can't go wrong whether you choose Mercedes or BMW. But in this particular case, without any doubt, I would purchase the Alpina over the Maybach.

I know this is a small thing but thank you for adding subtitles. It makes the whole process of using videos just that tad nicer, even if someone isn’t deaf or hard of hearing. The ability to immediately have readable text whenever accents or other languages block what you can understand is always a credible one.

0:50 Not sure if you'll say more about that later in the video, but Alpina is not a subbrand of BMW, but a private tuning company / car manufacturer (like Maybach used to be). However BMW has announced this March, that they will purchase the name (like Daimler did with Maybach a couple years ago), so things are gonna change towards what you stated.

Both of them i would go , it good to have different personalities in your garage

The Maybach exterior looks as classy as a "Jersey Shore" character wearing a Versace print track suit..
