I went with the Z900. It looks better, it's slightly cheaper, and with the full exhaust, the inline 4 combined with the intake sound is incredible. I don't need all the electronics.

I bought the gsx-s750 for all those same reasons plus the suspension is better than both if these bikes. Can't beat the i4 scream man.

@@mancer1873 The gixxus 750 was always so much more than people made it out to be. I've been seeing it finally get its due lately so that's cool. Had one a few years ago. Best daily rider I've ever swung a leg over. Looking for an MT09/XSR900 now though. Gotta try 'em all right :D

I bought a lightly used 2021 MT-90 a few months ago, been riding for 40+ years, and I have never ridden a bike more fun!

The more I read about the MT, the more I want, don’t mind the new XSR in black either

Considered both for a long time but chose the Z900...couple reasons...1. The Z900 has a lower seat height for shorter riders like myself 2. The power delivery is smoother and more linear than the MT09. 3. The MT09 has had several problems with the TPS unit and has a very jerky/on and off feeling vs. the very smooth cable throttle of the Z900. 4. Ya all the riding modes are cool but honestly how many people need to switch back and forth between 4 or 5 riding modes. 5. The front fork area of the MT09 breaks like a twig at low impact due to cheap aluminum. 6. The Z900 has bluetooth to connect to your phone 7. The Z900 feel way more planted on the road especially around curves than any of the MT line up....don't get me wrong. I love the MT line. I had 2 - MT03 bikes and sold my MT 07 to get my Z900. All were great bikes. Honestly both the Z900 and the MT09 are both great, it falls down to personal preference.

Do you actually use the Bluetooth to connect the Z900? IMO the app is just garbage.

Gonna have to choose z900. Cheaper, has the necessary tech, and love the inline 4. I like the cp3 and the tech from the mt09, but jeez that headlight is just awful.

The Ninja's for me with the space ship styling is just gaudy. Really only suits the H20's. I agree with the 09 headlight but the rest of the bike looks aggressive and purposeful like a muscle bike.

The design of the mt09 is what stopping me from buying it… why cant they just hire a better designer for the bike… the tail is the one that is an eye to me. It doesn’t look aggressive or eye candy to me. Just look at z900 tail… gorgeous….

The Z900 does have wheelie control, it's just advertised as such. The multi mode traction control when set accordingly will sense front wheel lifting through the ABS sensor and drop the power fast and securely to drop the front end down. Dont ask how I know this. 😎

That's not wheelie control. Wheelie control - is then one on Yamaha that let's you stay in perfect 45 angle wheelie, preventing you from looping even if you open full gas. I'd absolute hate if the bike would drop the power when I try to pull out the wheelie.

Went with the 2022 z900 . Love it .

At 4:09 the suspension compression does exist on the MT09 forks but not the shock, At 4:56 it written that there is a plus with the compression.

You truly cannot go wrong with either; it boils down to personal preference ie. which one draws you in more.

As an old git... We used to get bikes that looked good.. Then tune them up. EG .a suzuki gs 1000. Was faster than a z1000. But I'd rather have the Z. Killer looks.. Ask your grandad.....

MT-09 is fully adjustable on the forks(preload, comp, and rebound), but not on the shock. the shock have only preload and rebound. i see on the video its switched up

Both are great bikes.

The Duke 890 but the line R has a 121 hp The normal version is exactly, 115 hp

Hope to see gsx-s 1000 here to be compare also to other super nakeds

The difference in weight reflect very clear which one is more fun

Tough choice. But I kind like more the Kawasaki .. the inline 4 is so sweet.. and the 2024 model has lot of improvements in electronics aids. And for a less experienced rider the Kawa wins cause is more smooth and predictable.

In what currency do you use the prices because the mt 09 is at almost 15,000 dollars in Mexico and the Kawasaki is at 10,000 dollars. It's just a question but very good video👌😁

Z900 all day!

I want the Z900 because of its looks and inline-4 engine, but luckily it was out of stock. So, I bought the ugly MT-09 instead. I'm so happy with this fun bike. It's comfortable, powerful, lightweight, nimble, etc., and all the good reviews are legitimate! I almost ended up with a boring bike if the Z900 had been available at the time. But, yeah, you won't think the Z900 is a boring bike until you ride an MT09 😅

Mt09 has a quick shifter pre installed in 2023 models and is much snappier than z900, z900 power band doesn’t really allow momentary acceleration and responsiveness. If you ride like a normal person without speeding, going onto sidewalks, passing cars and doing hoon stuff, z900 is a good choice, if you enjoy fucking around, mt09 is the king

I'm a motorcycle tech. Yes and no. More can go wrong on the tech side of things but at the same time anything can go wrong with any bike.

The Z900 is devoid of a ride by wire throttle, which means no cruise control nor no quick shifter. I have a brand new MT09SP in my bat-cave / garage. 😁😛😋

@@andypervin1197I’ll have to check into this. but I have a 2021 z900. And I have a functioning aftermarket quick shifter. And it also came with power modes from the factory. Doesn’t it atleast need ride by wire to us power modes? 🤔 Edit: finally checked, nope your right. Apparently doesn’t need ride by wire for those to work 🤷‍♂️. Either way I still preferred the Z

@@toofastnobrakes Yeah each to there own mate. My friend has the Z900 he likes it. The local dealer I brought it from knocked quite a bit off my extra goodies the downside was the wait for it to come as the demand is quite high.

Agree, plus the z900 is very stable bike. Smooth throttle compared to MT-09 jerky fly by wire throttle, and the z900 has more power.
