I sooo want a truck! I’ve always loved Chevy trucks, how they look. But with gas prices and with my partner being the only one working right now, a van will be our next vehicle. Hopefully in the future we can get a truck.

You should review the new sequoia or maybe a defender 130, which supposedly has a usable third row and isn’t that different in price from a loaded expedition or suburban. When did everyday car brands start pricing at luxury car prices?! A point you didn’t bring up, though maybe not applicable to that particular Silverado, is that allot of full size trucks with the newer hybrid engines get better MPGs than full size SUVs. So if you don’t need eight seats, but want to haul stuff, a truck may definitely be a better option.

Where do you put the stroller etc? I live in a very rainy city, Vancouver Canada, and the only way to also have other things is to put a canopy or Tonneau cover on the bed.

How do you put a child in the middle when it's rear facing and you have a forward facing in one outbound, and the infant installed in the other? I don't understand why all trucks don't have 3 sets of lower latch anchors for better flexibility. Only the Ram 1500 does which really limits options. I like the idea of the hybrid trucks now available, but they don't have center lower latch anchors. So with the Foonf installed rearward facing in the center, and your ling and a forward facing foonf in the outbound, how to you put a kid in the middle seat and fasten the harness???? I would love a video demonstration of this! Thanks!!!

Find new roads doesn’t ring like the classic “Like a rock” era. Which is firmly believe was the best era. GM went downhill after the bailout. Well all American manufacturers did actually. I will keep my old Suburban(s),Silverado(s),Yukon. Ford hasn’t made a better car after they stopped producing the Crown Victoria, which i also own the police package.

What does this world come to?! Trucks were designed to be utility vehicles for towing and hauling hay on a small farm. Now they’re used by people better off driving a luxury sedan like BMW 7 series and Mercedes-Benz S-Class they both have sufficient space for the average family and their cargo! And they’re also more practical than a pickup truck. I grew up in a Toyota Corolla and Tacoma household. The corolla is more family friendly!
