I love the Tiguan's handling and performance. I traded my 2014 Tiguan in for this model and I absolutely love it. I like the accessories especially the heated seats and heated steering wheel.

I love the look, the feel, the quiet cabin, but I've seen numerous negative reviews about the issues with the turbo, some electrical issues, slow initial take off, shoddy components in Mexico

That’s typical of vw. Mostly unreliable compared to Japanese counterparts like Toyota and Honda

i was thinking of getting a used one at a vw dealership and they had a 2019 SEL R line thousands of dollars overpriced. i found a 2020 SEL R Line Premium with similar miles for less online. i was told that it was more expensive because of the manufacturer's warranty on the '19. they actually used that as a selling point. i started looking up reviews and the blogs say that this thing had issue after issue and it was a hassle, but at least it was covered under warranty. vw slashed the 100,000 mile warranty to 50,000 miles. i wonder why...

Review sounds like sponsored by VW or that dealership. No real negatives? Doubtful. I’ve had two VWs and would never go back. Dishonest company and guaranteed to pay out the nose once repairs are needed.

182 hp. I’ll pass. Too bad, I like the way it looks.
