That was by far the most informal video of the Mach E available. It is frustrating that ford dont really have this information for the public and their dealership employees knows little to nothing about the car and they will not ride with along during a test drive. It’s been extremely frustrating and unnecessary for a consumer have to go outside of the ford network and look up videos to piece information together from multiple videos on KZread and Facebook groups.

Great video. Very informative. 2 questions for you. Is there a while to lock whisper mode and limit the speed limit to a specific profile. The reason I ask is if I setup a profile for my teenager and want to make sure she wont be speeding or going to fast if she is using the car under her profile. 2nd question. If you get the 2022 GT model without the copilot 2.0 / 360 camera. Can that be added later? Like tesla with the self driving option that can be bought after if you decide to get it. Thank you

Thanks for the compliment! As far as I know it still uses fords MyKey which you can program a key for your teen driver that allows you to limit top speed to 80mph (big help there) but you can also have speed warning messages pop up on the dashboard as a reminder to them. The second question would be best asked to a dealership. My recollection is no, you wouldn’t be able to add that later, also pretty sure it would be cheaper to buy it already on the car rather than an add on later. Hope that helps and thanks for watching!

That was a very good video. I take delivery of my Mach E in 3 days. I am getting the Select model with the comfort and technology package. My question is with the navigation system, do you have to type in the destination or can you use voice command to put in the destination so you don't have to type.

How do you preset your radio to favorite ?

Can't get the steering wheel radio controls to change the siriusxm radio channels. It just switches to FM or AM.

Hmm.. that’s interesting. The seek forward and backwards buttons on the right side of the steering wheel are supposed change stations not modes (AM/FM/ etc). Since there is no way to program these buttons, there must be a fault system n the system. You could try to do a reset of the infotainment system or perhaps take it back to the dealer and let them run some diagnostics on it. Hope those ideas help and thanks for watching!

I was really hoping you would have a good explanation & demonstration of the various features, since you entitled this a “How to” video for the Mach-E infotainment system, and I just got a Mach-E this last week…but I’ve been kind of confused by the large number of infotainment controls, and by their illogical layout & names. Unfortunately, instead of a “how to” video, you basically just walked through the various menus, and for most functions, you just showed that they are there and can be on or off…. rather than explaining how they work or how to use them. For example, you flew through the section discussing the lane center warning/assist feature, and simply said that you can choose between “notification” and/or “aid”…but you didn’t explain what selecting them did in real . Like how the notifications work when you veer out of your lane (is it a beep? a bell? a loud klaxon? or maybe the steering wheel vibrates?)…and more significantly, it would have been helpful if you could explain what the “aid” choice does….what happens if you veer out of the lane with the “aid” on? Does it take control and steer you back into the lane? Or provide some other kind of “assistance”? Ford doesn’t explain it at all, so I was really hoping your video would., Same for the blind spot information system, and all the rest, you unfortunately just told us “its either on or off”, rather than giving a good “how to” video for viewers like me to learn about the Infotainment system features. Maybe you can make another video that actually explains the more complicated features? Thanks.

how do you set profile photo to picture?

Thanks for the question. Here are a couple of thoughts. First, are you trying to set the profile pic from an iPhone? If you are, the dealership needs to register you with Ford before the button will show up on the infotainment screen that allows you to sync your photo on your phone with the profile. Others have found a work around by disabling apple CarPlay then reconnecting via bluetooth. Then whatever photo you have set on your iPhone as yours, will now show up under the profile pic options in the infotainment screen . When your done , just re enable apple car play.
