R Cabal, which way did you tackle the access to the globes, I really want to look into this for my 2012 Gen II. I'll have to see if there's an Australian outlet.

@@garyb931 what do you mean by the globes? All the lights I changed were accessible from either the top, or the bottom wheel well without removing the cowl or fairings

I have been using Hikari bulbs for the last two years...have put them in all my vehicles and friend's vehicles! Love them!! The best part is that you can clock the bulb after install to get it aligned perfectly vertical. Two Mustangs, one Lightning pickup, one Escape, my ZX-11, and my VFR1200F all use Hikari EOM bulbs.

Have you needed high beams yet? I've never used high beams in my cars or the truck. And Ive rarely used it on the ZX11, despite it only having a single headlight. The brightness seems to be right between a normal high/low beam's brightness.

I'd love to get one of this ZX14R but it's hard to get here in Nigeria. Almost all the brands are available, even some mid-range Kawasaki like z series and ZX6 and ninja 400 to 650 but can't get the ZX14R and it my favorite and my dream bike.

Dang that’s crazy! I always thought overseas they could get all the cool bikes that we can’t over here in the US. But it looks like there a lot of different countries you can’t get certain models in. Thanks for the post!

How are these bulbs at giviing a good focused beam pattern down the road compared to stock? Scott

Great question. I find the down road pattern to be slightly wider at low beam and way better at hi beam. Overall though the light is so much whiter and brighter it seems like you can see down the road distance wise quite a bit better.

You're 100% correct they do look brighter. The yellow hue of the factory bulbs just look better to me.

Putting all h11 and had no issue?

Does anyone have any idea if these are compatible for the 2008 ZX14? According to Amazon they aren't but it also tells me that w/several other interchangeable parts which work from 2006-2021.

I use the quad lock phone mount. I have it on all my bikes. I also add the vibration dampener to it as well that they make. On my Zx14r I prefer the quad lock stem mount. On my other bikes I have the regular handlebar mount. Hope that helps! 🙂

So I bought the same lights and installed them and as in your video here, that dark vertical line is showing down the middle. Is that normal?

Visibility is great and no mod at all. Just a little extra wire tucking as they come with a bit bigger harness. Easy peasy brother!

So I switched all the lights and they need adjustment so I have to take it to the Kawasaki dealer. Did you have to adjust yours?

@@frank4548 you can easily adjust your headlights if needed. There’s a couple guys who made videos on it. It’s not bad. I didn’t have to do mine, but I know some people do.

Far brighter than stock. It’s a very distinct difference! I’m very happy with them. The only question is how long will they last? But time will tell. They seem very well made.

You will never need high beams again! My ZX-11 only has one of these bulbs and it's more than ample! Once adjusted, high beams produce a very even and clean beam. But, the low beams are more than enough. They produce 9600-9800 lumens per pair.
