2024 Kawasaki ZX-14R EXTREME MAKEOVER

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

#dynotune #zx14r #kawasaki
In today's video, we're taking the already amazing 2024 Kawasaki ZX-14R Anniversary Edition and taking it to new heights with a series of high-performance modifications from Brock's Performance. These are all bolt on mods you can do to your own zx14r to get these results.
Brock’s Performance CT Exhaust System, Brock’s Clutch Mod, P08 Air Filter, quick shifter and Custom Dyno Tuning from yours truly.
This whole build answers the questions most riders have when it comes to their new bikes. Can you modify a new motorcycle? Does modifying a motorcycle void the warranty? How much power does a 2024 zx14r have?
This bike only has 146 miles on it, so it's about as new as it gets! This new color scheme on the zx14r anniversary edition is really something amazing. It looks much better in person for sure! And of course, listen to the titanium exhaust clips and quick shifter sounds.

    No. The bike is so big it actually looks like shit. The zx12r is the biggest kawasaki I've seen that still looks good. The hayabusa suffers from the same problem this one does. "It's so big that the engine belongs in a car, and in a motorcycle package it just looks ugly". Idgaf if it's fast, it's canceled out by it's SHREK like composure.

    I’m not buying this whole oil pump mod thing, reason is my dad & i since 2006 have had combined 9 different ZX-14’s & not one suffered any sort of oil psi or bearing issue, combine that with a good friend that has 2 ZX-14R’s that are used for his iron butt association competitions, he has put tremendous miles on each of those bikes & due to the nature of his rides go 10+ thousand mile oil change intervals.

    But I'm also willing to bet you guys are on top of maintenance. It also has actually been tested (can't remember who since it's been a while) that under Deceleration, oil pressure drops due to the flex in the oil pump plate and creating psi loss which can cause the spun bearing. I've also had a few customers come in with the notorious spun #3 rod and none of them had the oiling mods. In fact we have 2 zx14 motors currently under the knife getting rebuilds and neither have oiling mods.

    I have a 2012 Gen 2 ZX14 and love the bike. I was surprised that Kawa left those horrible cannons on the 40th anniversary model. I have seen some 40th anniversary with Akra's on the net, don't know if there is a couple of variants of this model. The Brocks exhaust, looks great, but I like things symmetrical, so I would prefer 4 into 2 like my Akra slip ons. The extra gains with the exhaust a filter are nothing to be sneezed at either. Thanks for the vid, keep up the good work. Cheers from Australia.

    What's up with the mods why do they prefer the extra mods to the clutch is their a problem with those clutches? Because I am in the market for another super bike and i had this in mind but I don't want to have to do all that just to ride. My bussa was easy to work on. and out the gate it ran without all these Mods but I want to try another style bike.

  • @provenpowercycles

    @provenpowercycles

    25 күн бұрын

    It all depends on what you're using bike for. You can slap an exhaust and filter in and pick up roughly 10whp just doing that (provided it's a good full exhaust system). Then tune it and you're looking damn near 200whp or more with simple mods. The clutch kit is a good one from factory but again depends on what you are using bike for. And oil mods are recommended here too. These bikes drop oil pressure and if you don't keep oil on the high side, you risk spinning a rod bearing 🤙

    It's either overpowered CAR sized "motorcycles" or underpowered SCOOTER sized "motorcycles". The "in between" segment is dying. I once heard someone say "the middle class segment is dying", referring to the financial class. Same thing seems to be happening with motorcycles. Seeing a ton more under/over sized "motorcycles", but the bikes that I personally support like the zx6r and cbr600rr, "no those are too dangerous, how dare you". Look at the r6 and the daytona 675. GONE. Yet here we are with this ABOMINATION. This CAR sized engine in a motorcycle frame. Stupid. Fucking stupid. Our species is so two faced.
