    I enjoyed your video. I got my 2021 Ford Escape Titanium AWD with the 401A package in late June. I love this car. I traded my 2018 Ford Edge in for it and was concerned that I wouldn't be completely happy with my new car. But I am so happy with it. It is an awesome vehicle. I love all of the goodies and how it drives and its comfort. And, of course, I got a red one. It is a car to enjoy. And I, too, wish that it had the cooled seats. I live in Las Vegas and it gets extremely hot here. Again, thanx

    Thanks so much Burny! Glad to know that you're loving the new car. Sounds like you adjusted to the difference in size nicely as well. It would be great to see Ford bring the cooled seats to the Escape! Cheers

    I went from a leased RAV 4 Toyota and traded bit for a 2020 escape titanium hybrid. I can not find a thing about out I don’t like. It handles so well, the hybrid is fantastic and i average between 44 to 47 mpg. I cannot feel anything when it goes from gas to electric, but mileage is mostly highway and the mileage is as stated above. You owe it to yourself to drive one.

    EXCELLENT video! I just bought this identical car, same color & options (as a 3-year-old car with only 14.5 k miles), so this is a great tutorial for my wife and I. Steve, I love your enthusiasm. One caveat to your test drive: I did notice that, for me, with the cruise control engaged with the lane-keeping on, the car will try to veer off and take available freeway exits (off ramps) as you go by them, so BE PREPARED for that issue! Again, I really like this car so far and this video is a real help.

    Thank you! Great point about the cruise on the highway. I've noticed that in most cars lane keeping will get confused when you're in a lane with exits. Half the time it hugs the freeway, half it'll assume you're getting off at the upcoming exit. Technology haha. How are you liking the new Escape so far?

    Well, "so far so good" as they say. We just bought it last Friday, so not a lot of experience so far. Need a couple of minor things fixed up by the dealership: rear tail light broken and the Nav Voice inoperative. Parts are on order for these 2 items so we're not worried. Planning on taking a road-trip this spring which should be a good "shake-down" for us to get to know the vehicle better.@@CarsWithSteve

    Hopefully it stays that way! Weird that the nav voice isn't working.. I don't think someone has mentioned that on any of my videos before. Enjoy the new ride!

    This is such a great video! I got my Ford Escape Titanium in August and it's got so much tech it's a bit overwhelming as goofy at that sounds. So the lane keeping assist doesn't kick in till I'm going roughly 37 MPH? I was wondering about how that worked.

  • @CarsWithSteve

    @CarsWithSteve

    Thanks JC! Doesn't sound goofy at all, that's exactly why I started making theses videos! Yes, you're right about lane keeping. Need to hit that speed for the system to actually turn on!
