Not scrolling to check if this is covered but the gear selection is logical for the design. If you had to push down on all of them you could potentially engage the wrong gear, and have an accident. Might not be as good as a standard gear select lever but it does clean the interior up.

I love my 2017 Tahoe Premier and looking to get a new one. BUT 2021 Chevy Tahoe’s should make more changes to the cluster, interior lighting, I think when you’re paying about $70k or more you should be getting more. Now I’m thinking of getting a 2022 Acura DMX yeah smaller but I’m getting more for my money. ✌🏼

The reason for the pull part of that transmission select is actually pretty solid logic. Pulling towards you requires a deliberate finger motion as in thought before switching to the drive gears….forward/reverse. With column shifters you have to pull towards you for the reverse and drive position anyway. A slight learning curve but fairly quick. Placing on the dashboard also prevents a floor mounted position which is a spilled liquid hazard….probably not covered by warranty. Premier with comparable equipment to High Country minus the 6.2 is about $5K less. Some features are standard on HC are optional on Premier but you can build and price a Premier and load it up to about 90% of HC content…again minus the 6.2 was $74.2K. Same build/price for HC was $79K. Unless you are swimming in extra cash which is not that many these days the HC just like the Yukon Denali…..you are paying for the name.

The 2021 should definitely be a top choice for anyone looking for a third row SUV

That little cubby right side of infotainment might be a good spot to stash the key fob while driving. If it’s felt lined won’t rattle over the chop. 1st review I’ve seen that actually addressed that.

It's for the sunglasses. They removed it from the roof and replaced it with this one. Your key will fall too deep inside, you won't be able to pick it easily.

The reason the reverse button is a pull, is so that you don't accidentally throw the vehicle in reverse accidentally. It would be very easy to make that mistake.

Is it a large suv or a mid ?? Does the rear window open?? Pls, show it in the next video!!

Jeez it’s as if tropical storm Hannah that’s headed for us in Texas made it to Utah instead with all that wind! Anywho the chime gods have blessed us because GM was rocking the same chime from at least ‘99. Other than that this is a good looking SUV. Shout out to Ford for making them get more serious. This is GM’s money maker are they were getting somewhat complacent so this is a good upgrade!

Does the 6.2L require premium fuel? Might be a selling point for the 5.3 if that’s the case (overall cost of ownership)

Yes. The 6.2 is recomended to run premium.

What I would like to see and not just with cars, is the cost to make them, what the dealers really pay and then we have MSRP. How about a breakdown of where all the parts are made? and a breakdown of what factors into the cost to make. Manufacturers don't want us to see that. I remember in the early to mid 90's, suburbans were around 25k. The cost to make them was half of that. That's quite a markup. If I was going to spend that much on a brand new vehicle I’d personally get the 2121 Escalade with the 6.0 turbo diesel but I still think they did a great job on this truck. Can’t go wrong with a Tahoe.

Correct! We are now getting Yukon’s and Yukon Denalis delivered. It really helps that the Arlington plant makes them plus Texas is a huge market for full size SUV’s and trucks.
