All cars are overly expensive now, probably don't need half of the gadgets and not to mention used car prices right now. I'll keep my 08 Impala even though now it's considered a salvage.

@Steve Silvas You can actually get a Bronco for half of this, but it won't be loaded and that's ok. Car manufacturers have gotten out of hand with pricing. it outstrips inflation and that gets buried in ever increasing loan terms. People have become indentured to a lifestyle that's becoming apparent as the economy tanks due to the pandemic. Subsidies run out at the end of this month. If that happens, meaning a new bill isn't passed, get ready for a big correction.

$40 boxes of cereal. Almost fell off my couch.

@@ryanbeaver609 oh yes they do! With the chip shortage, people don’t know how to wait and are rushing to buy so they’re paying sticker and markup prices. It’s insane! I can’t even get the GM discount I qualify for. 😳

You must be kidding right? An explorer isn’t as large or as good looking plus I don’t think a ford or GM vehicle look anything a like. My 2018 explorers lease is about up so might give a Tahoe a try. My explorer is a good vehicle but I just don’t care for its engine and I will leave it at that. Thanks

It looks beautiful on the outside but the interior looks cheap and simple compared to the competition 😕

I just bought a Z71 2021 black on black and its a beast! Lost of options, power, the panoramic roof is amazing and family loves it. Having the 4X4 is king of the road.

Excellent video. I picked up my Z71 this past Friday. I thought I knew everything since I've been watching numerous videos on the Tahoe. I have yet to see you anybody mention the glass open on the rear tailgate. Very informative and you taught me something new. Good job!

I went to a FORD Explorer sport in 2017 after generations of GM trucks in my family after the last 2 trucks had MASSIVE problems. I am always open to coming back but I haven't seen anything yet that wows me.

I tried building a suburban. Why in gods name can’t I get retractable steps with the technology package?

Have you been able to test drive one yet? I was surprised with how the 5.3 handled. Drives so nice. I have yet to try the magnetic ride control though, which this one supposedly has. 😄

Wow GM did a Great Job on these SUV’s, GM will definitely sell a lot of these SUV’s(More Than Ford). My Favorite thing about the New SUV’s is that they have the Same Trailering Features that the Pickup Trucks have for Example the Integrated Trailer Brake Controller,Trailer Side Blind Zone Alert and Invisible Trailer Mode! Great Job GM on these Amazing SUV’s!

Nice, except for the shifter buttons. Chevy will eventually replace the buttons for the column shifter on the Tahoe PPV and SSV models just like the Caprice PPV debacle.

8400 lbs 5.3L 2wd with max tow and 3.23 rear end gears. A 4x4 same way would have 8200lbs towing capacity. The 6.2L 8300 and 8100 lbs respectively.

Chevy putting that wireless charging so far down, why not install a holder area up by the screen, making the space useful

My GOD people have to be out they mind if they spend 75k for GM junk.

If you do a review of the 21 model suburban and take it for a road test, can you actually full it with passengers (a couple children and rest adults) and some cargo in the boot (trunk for America). Actually see how it travels full and see how comfortable it is for passengers and driver with children.

Good point. I didn’t and a little tighter fit than I thought in the garage. The Auto Stop/Start is not a federal requirement. CAFE is the requirement SS is just one of the ways that it helps make this happen. Fortunately for my delivery it was a model that had August build date……. Auto S/S, steering column lock and wireless charging was removed from vehicles after June 202-z. There was a three part phase in but basically any production build date after around mid July most likely won’t have these three features. Before you praise the wireless Charging pad location remember that is a wide open area with probably many different combinations of potential dame to either charging pad, phone and or both. I do like that they make the charging pad compartment big enough to place phones AND able to run a charging cord. Two out of the three items in the above list I can survive without (WC/stop Start). Steering column lock not so much but time will tell. The iPhone 11 PM he showed was probably without a case. Same situation for glasses. My glasses fit in there but one pair at a time. One pair of glasses fit in without the case. If you have a pouch instead of the hardened case then maybe. The took the “conversation mirror” out of the overhead console. I am surprised that the new moms of America haven’t filed a major complaint with GM on that one. Multi view camera is nice. I can toggle between rear and front view while doing some close quarter parking.

Looks great. But waiting on the Suburban.

The real question did gm fix the booming “sound” from the last generation.

I think that grille loks better on this new Tahoe than it does on the Silverado that it came from... :P Also, it would take a while to get used to that push-button transmission, which I am surprised to see. MOPAR introduced push-button transmissions on some old Plymouths back in the early 60s, only for the government to outlaw them and force MOPAR to switch to a shift lever. Now, if we could only convince the Feds to get rid of that mandated start-stop feature... Or, get the automakers to put in a switch that I can use to disable that feature without having to do it EVERY time I get in the car. I know it can be done. There was a switch like that for the passenger-side airbag in my 2001 Chevy S-10. [/EndRant]

Cost of these new vehicles is ridiculous! But...they are really nice!

It's a shame they cheaped out on all the plastics behind the front seats. None of the interior panels seem to line up correctly. It looks stunning but if you're paying nearly 80k it better be damn near perfect.

I just want a full size vehicle that doesn't cast 50k base model, while some of the features are good I don't need 3/4 of them. You can't even find cars with the shift lever on the column anymore.

The mistake is it’s ugly

Get the gmc version it will have a better looking front end

Chevy designed the Blazer as another crossover to blend in the scenery with all other crossovers with zero BANG. Ford is taking reservations for the Bronco to a HUGE response; so huge that the reservation website crashed; How did Chevy miss the boat on a huge off-road market and what is Chevy going to do about it????

I can't believe on a 75k suv, there is not any rear entertainment.
