@@scottwilkins Of course I missed it because it isn't true. If you believe it's true, show me where GM beats Toyota over a 3-5 year period. GM 'may' have beat Toyota in initial quality over 3 months, but that means nothing. It is the long run that matters to most.

Wow! Very nice. Absolutely crushes the Expedition. Im glad GM is still sticking with tried and true V8 engines over turbo 6 engines. Im the proud owner of a 1999 Tahoe. It still runs great to this day!

Those older Tahoe’s are tanks. New ones have lost the quality. GM has been cutting so many corners in the recent past since the excellent cars of late 90’s and early 2000’s. Loved my ‘04 Malibu when I had it, but constantly hear of issues on other new family GM products now. Important thing to note is that most GM parts are foreign, even if they are assembled in the US.

@@andybub45 They will sell a lot, this car is ugly, and over-styled, idk what GM was thinking about when they redesigned this car, they was most likely talking about politics, like old people do, and the robots mistakenly put a Silverado grill on it, and GM said "this looks amazing, let's put it on sell so everyone can shut up". I hate the look, and I hate Chevrolet now, they hurt my soul, with me being a Chevy guy! I especially hate the rear, looks like they just took the rear of the good Tahoe and the Expedition and just put a Chevy emblem there and said "yep this is what y'all get". The price is too high for this ugly car, I hate V8 engines, and for a V8, what a bad output only 355 horsepower, well while you can get the 6.2L, that lowers fuel economy, that is why I hate it, while there are a lot of good stuff about it, like the interior, the 3rd row legroom, and the 3 engine options and amazing I-6 engine price the exterior looks ruins it for me!

I'm so glad they went with the amber rear indicators!! It really separates them from the competition.

Yes, love the amber rear turn signals, I am just disappointed they didn't use leds for rear turn, brake and reverse lights. Come on gm, this is 2021!!!

I love the new version of these vehicles (Chevy/GMC). Yet, I could not help but notice the Honda embossed water bottle, once you opened the rear cargo area. I thought that this was a Chevy assessment and promo. Great video, keep them coming.

Gorgeous new Chevrolet Tahoe. Exterior in particular front lights and tail LED lights are simply beautiful. The front grille totally redesigned and looks futuristic stylish. Well balanced modern spacious interior. Overall very impressive large SUV.

if they make the tahoe so big idk why they still make the suburban. they should kill one of the 2 and bring back the 2 door tahoe and yukon because both of the 4 doors are massive

Yes!!! Next I want you to do the suburban. The 2021 Chevy suburban is already in production and should be arriving at dealers soon. And then after that would be the Yukon. Not just any Yukon though. I’m talking about the 2021 GMC Yukon XL maybe and do the 2021 GMC Yukon Denali. The 2021 GMC Yukon Dinali XL should be arriving at your dealer shortly as well because the XL just begun production last week.

limpunsing22 Symbolism and an “all-American vehicle” are two very different things. When someone says all-American, I think of almost fully American made (parts and all). Being a symbol doesn’t mean it is all-American whatsoever. Also icon? To my knowledge the Mustang, Bronco, old Pontiac Firebird, Corvette, etc. Those are American car icons. Tahoe was introduced in the late 90’s, don’t think that fits the definition of an icon. If it does, then so does the Expedition.

I’m looking forward forward to the first reviews of the inline 6 Diesel engines available in GMC/Chevy/Caddy large SUVs. Would make me consider getting one and forgetting about also getting a new truck since the torque and towing capabilities would be the same as a half ton truck or at least better than a mid size truck. Basically getting 2 cars in one. And I’ve never before considered getting either type of auto. If GM and Ford work on getting a good hybrid or electric large SUV also with good towing and luxury inside, then it’s like 3 cars in one.

I love my 2021 Tahoe!!

Just like the Silverado and the Corvette C8, Chevy knocked it out of the park on the new Tahoe and Suburban, home run, touchdown, game winning. 3- pointer! They are gonna be hot on the streets! And they have the compact Trailblazer and the slightly restyled Traverse and Equinox coming..

Tahoe and Suburban aren’t luxury vehicles at all. If you want more luxury and more premium lighting elements, that’s why luxury branded versions of this vehicle exist (Aka GMC Yukon Denali and Cadillac Escalade).

I own this hVd had it about 3 weeks best decision ever even over yukon

I wouldve spent another $4k on this premier and optioned the power running boards, 22” wheels, and black emblems. The white on maple sugar is perfect though.

High contender for our Highlander replacement.. we need more room in the 3rd row for growing kids.. may be between this and the Yukon

Name aside the Premier and High Country are about 90-95% compatible for equipment. Major HC exclusive is the 6.2 only available on HC, power retractable running boards and HUD is standard for HC…optional and part of required packages for Premier. Unless you are shopping the name then save the $5K and load up a Premier. Premier is a little mor chrome than I would like but workable……..especially if the LT, RST and Z71 grilles are a plug and play swap out. Same deal with mirror caps..Body color on HC. I believe they come in black and are paint/blend to match.

I like the column shifter. Is it an option?

Hi Drew and Mason 🙂, I thought you two were on a road trip adventure w/ family in the Camry TRD, I saw the press loan Toyota off in the background. Anyhow, I'm happy to see you two and new content on your channel. After watching this review, the 2021 Chevy Tahoe is a huge improvement. Interior storage up front for driver and passenger is impressive. Mason, this is only a suggestion, you should measure with a tape measure off camera to see how much legroom is behind Drew's seating position when you are seated. You already seem accurate in your estimation of how much legroom you have 👌. Thigh support in the 3rd row is definitely not lacking.

Found the Tahoe had a higher quality finish in the interior compared to the Expedition. Hoping the price of the 2021 Tahoe drops soon, as comparable Expeditions are discounted $12-13k less. Hard for me to spend $72k on a Tahoe Premier when the Expedition Limited is $59k right now.

I was looking forward to your review. all of the other GM reviews for this new model have been trash.

Buffy wants to go cross country in this one.

You will appreciate the extra length for passenger comfort…..unless you have a 200 inch garage. I was originally looking for Z71 but nothing in stock and minimum six-ten week back order. Too much risk of MSRP increase, another shortage causing some other options/packages either being de contented or not available at all. Plus risk of trade in value dropping and worse risk off incident, damage, accident to trades.

Anyone know how many gallons this one holds?

Most Toyota products are very well made. Same can't be said for GM and Chrysler.

I'm a Nissan and Toyota guy, and that push button, dash mounted shifter is NO BUENO in a truck.

My opinion. Exterior and interior on this Tahoe Premier is better looking than the Yukon Denali.

The Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban, the GMC Yukon and Yukon XL, and the Cadillac Escalade account for 50% of all large SUV sales in the US. GM makes 340,000 of them every year and exports about 80,000 to 31 countries. They’re made in GM’s plant in Arlington, Texas, which is said to be the most profitable assembly plant in the world. We estimate they generate $20 billion in revenue for GM and about $4 billion in profits. Autoline Daily.

Just got rid of my Malibú 2017, nothing but problems. I had a 94 Silverado, 250000 miles, without a big issue, great truck, I hope GM quality is back.

@@leroy5202 Wait a year or two and Cadillac will add those features and more. Cadillac has regained my trust for the first time since the 1990s.

The prominent display of the Honda thermos in the cargo area is quite comical when reviewing a GM product.

A "small" detail I think many people haven't noticed or mentioned or just aren't minded by it, that imo has had a negative change into this new generation of all gm's new SUV's, is the placement of the front fender amber marker light, what in most cases was previously well integrated into the headlight assembly now seems to be placed poorly and "cheaply" as an afterthought on the vehicles. Just an unfortunate detail like the omission of all Full LED components within the rear tail lights.

Now, let's see if they can make a trail blazer the right way

@@Tyler-fn7pf its normal on all GM vehicles. The electronics start for a split second before the engine starts. Thats why the gauges went out after he pressed the button, because power is diverted to the starter. The noise was the electronics firing up. Stop being a Ford troll.
