2020 Kia Soul S Road Test (acceleration, handling, and cabin noise)
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
This is rental car number 153 and today I'm road testing the 2020 Kia Soul S. I love this little hatchback and I think you will too. Just don't expect a race car, 'cause it certainly isn't fast. But at city and suburban speeds, it handles great and has just enough acceleration to make driving fun.
There's more details below, but I just wanted to quickly say ~thank you~ for watching my video. Please comment below and share your thoughts. Or just take a second and say 'Hey'. I'd love to hear from you. Cheers!

I purchased my 2020 Kia Soul S 5 months ago and am very happy with the style and performance, and especially the gas mileage. It's very fun to drive which is a huge plus for me. It also looks a little bit like a Range Rover and at about half the price which is another plus. The 10 year 100,000 mile warranty is great too.
I love my 2020 Kia Soul S! A blast to drive! My 2nd Soul. I had a 2014 base model for 3 yrs. I bought it brand new and I loved it too!
It's a CVT idea but it's an IVT, instead of a rubber band like piece they use a chain, making the response not jerking at full throttle it's just a hit and go type deal
Awesome video Jerry! I’m so sorry for being late, I didn’t get the notification until today!😿😸
I know this is years later but you should have also shown us in Sport Mode because it does make a difference.
Manual mode on the Soul IVT allows you to shift to a simulated 8th gear, where the engine turns only 2,100 rpm at 70 mph, down from about 2,800 in normal D mode. I own a 2020 Soul LX 6-speed manual, and the engine also turns about 2,800 rpm at 70 in 6th. You really have to rev these small engines up to get any power from them, and I find both the 6-MT and the IVT keep the rpms higher up, but the IVT even more so.
At first i was against even trying a kia soul but now I’m all for trying one now I had 2019 optima last summer i had a choice either between that or Toyota Camry this year i just finished with a 2019 audi a5 sportback anyways, great job

Wow!
Put it in sport mode, manual transmission, and it gets more fun.

I bet! I'm sorry I forgot to test that out. Next time for sure.
I guess if you own this car and want better high speed handling, you can get some better tires. Rental car companies usually specs for the cheapest tires available.
