Out of many mid sized SUVs I checked, the Tucson was the best and most appealing throughout. The boot space is great as well. Fantastic vehicle for the price. The previous version prior to the update has a nicer grill.

I was looking at Karoq and Tucson. I chose Tucson as I found the driving position better, it was higher and the car was just a little better looking with a little more character, I pick it up on Thuraday. But the Karoq did look very solid.

Friends mumgot this model yesterday on motability 1.6 petrol auto white It drives very nice,I likeblack wheels spoiler mirrors and interior comfortable Rebecca very nice also!!

Hi is it possible to replace the alloys off the n line tucson with the alloys from the i30 n sport ?

2019 Premium SE owner here- You do NOT wave your foot under the boot like a plonker. You simply have the key on you and walk up to the boot and it opens within a few seconds and beeps to confirm your choice. Please research first before reviewing. Also you did not mention the wireless phone charger built in and many of the other safety features. Also go really tired of hearing about the Skoda i tried it and it was boring. The volvo was nice but for the amount of tech you got the price was way above a top spec tucson.

The 3008 doesn't have a convoluted menu system for the air conditioning... you press the second piano key from the left to go to the menu. This is no more of an issue than using air con in the XC40. Also, whilst the controls are supposedly "logically laid out", don't you think there are too many buttons on the steering wheel? I wish Hyundai and Kia would do something about their dark grey interiors...

I have the pre-facelift version with the entry level engine (1.6 GDi). Yea, it's slow, but I mosty drive in city, so that doesn't bother me at all. The turbo one is snappy, but has horrible fuel economy in-city. And if you drive a lot outside the city, then the diesel makes more sense anyway.

GOD can you stop mentioning the Skoda for ONE SECOND?

Doesn't reverse camera have an overlay that corresponds with steering - does in my 19 plate (se nav) and is awesome for reversing?

Simple and practical review..Both noise are amazing, sporty and comfortable...

Kia/Hyundai buyers, do not buy a vehicle with a Theta family engine, you could get lucky, or you could get one that catches fire, self destructs or gobbles oil. I have a 17' Sportage with 64000 miles, it now uses 1/2 qt. of oil per 1000 miles. I am stuck with adding oil until it or if it self destructs. The Theta family is 2.0L and 2.4L up to 2020. I have 44000 on a 16' Turbo Tucson and it doesn't use oil...yet.

Forget the car, I'm here for the Rebecca.

I'm confused. If the Hyundai Tucson's Nissan rival is the Qashqai, where does that leave the Nissan X-Trail? Or Skoda's Kodiak for that matter since you claim it this Hyundai competes with the Karoq!

Get a Skoda or a Seat, forget the Nissan (too unreliable anyway, especially their auto gearboxes and electronics) it seems Hyundai has been beaten in nearly every aspect here by the German based cars

By an estate car - more space, lower cost and better economy. Of course with the centre of gravity high compared with an estate it doesn't handle nearly as nice as an estate.

Mpg 1.6 petrol auto is around 28 town 35 plus on longer run Should get better as engine runs in more Friends mom just got one

you are a pro and actually do a housewife perspective review, as there is more to all cars shown. Let's start with the handbook, how useful is it really? What does it state? Does it say anything about service intervals, the fluid levels, what type of fluids, tyre pressures - why is that important to check them. Well, in the UK you might find easy a mechanic around the next corner or have roadside assistance quite easy on hand - but let's say you are in the Australian outback, 400 km between drinks and the sun is baking you, it has 44 centigrade. Checking all that before one rolls out could be survive this drive or come home in a box - if you will be found at all. So is there a good spare tyre, a patch kit, are there spare light bulbs, anything so one can check the tire pressure with, where are the fuses and are there any spares - how about a first aid kit - any drinking bottles(filled up) - can anyone change a tyre with those tools supplied? I tell you about a Renault Scenic dCi 2008. I borrowed a box trailer, hooked it up and that one had an electrical problem - in the middle of nowhere - lights out! OK, no big deal, hand book out - where are the fuses - yeah it states they are at the far back in the glove box in a flip down opening / found it! Well, they fuses are marked with a glued in paper sticker, spares are there - but hey, there are no blown out fuses, so why do I have no electric power? And now I tell you the true odyssey. That sticker next to the fuses was bogas as it did not belong in the Scenic but belonged to a Megane. There was no mentioning at all in this handbook about those other fuses! Under the passenger seat is a drawer and this drawer has to be taken out and one has to work out the locking mechanism first to do so to get to some - not all of them, just five fuses are beneath there. Yeah, I got indoor lights now - but nothing else does work. Someone came finally along, knowing Renaults and pointed out to me where those important fuses and relays are, about ~ 15 relays and ~ 50 or more fuses of them are really hiding! One has to disconnect and take out the battery ( meaning one has to know and clocks in all the codes again), strip down some wire links / remove three plastic covers and there is a monster of a print slotted in below with two bundles of wires to be disconnected and taken out and only there on top are the relays but on the underneath side, yes on the other side of that print are all those fuses facing downwards. Again nothing there at all to tell one what all the fuses are really protect...and now with the battery out and some wires stripped, how does one know by changing all the fuses if the electrical problem has been solved successfully? The design of those Renault fuses are something else, one needed an ohmmeter to test them to know if they are still good or blown. Otherwise when working a very good economical car! So please check also this on all cars you do a review on as this what Renault did here on this 2008 Scenic is down right criminal.

Yep, it's the same with Ford's St-Line. I got myself a 2017 Fiesta ST200(Overboost215hp, 1175kg, proper suspension, transmission, recaros, real drivers car...). Everytime I get to a parking lot people keep asking: Ah, is this an St-line? My sister got the same, is it the 75hp? That's sad and funny in one way...

"The petrol version makes more sense". Why? I'm sorry but diesel is the king. And environmental friendly (see the co2 emissions plus the less consumption).

So wrong, my dad has a Skoda and my 2019 Nline Tucson Hybrid diesel is so much better. I would say this review is quite biased.

And while it's no Range Rover.... [what? Since when was a Range Rover anything but a snob brand. It's okay for up to three years. ] And I get that no North Asian automobile will ever be 'cool' but (for the average person in the Anglosphere), so what..... And as for a Skoda & Volvo, I rest my case [& Warranty claim]. Hyundai/Kia vehicles trump all of these for longevity in the Outback. [ps I'm Anglo Aussie 170 years.]

OMG the interior is Awful!!!

Terrible sad interiors with black leather seat, only black, black. Other I want to say, is time that we can use our voice on multimedia when we shall use Maps, bluetooth, or go too You Tube. Is dangerous when driving sitting and hit the right button on touch screen, my self hate to do it. So the car producer have too make a voice control, I know some has it, like Mercedes on some models. About Tucson, is a ugly car, he has been to big, too clumsy, not a up dated exterior.
