    Road Glide funny you say that I’m just getting into it, have always been into cars but lately have been itching to see what it’s like to be on a bike. When things get back to normal and I have a job again definitely looking into it. So what’s a good beginner naked bike?? I love the look of the Ducati Monsters but is the 797 too much or ok? Thanks!

    Lama 67 Great to hear. Long version. Yawn if you must. Like your car passion you meet the nicest folks motorcycling and enjoy a freedom hard to describe, but you’ll know it. If you haven’t recently within a year or two, seriously consider signing up for a 2 day Basic Motorcycle Safety Foundation course (MSF). There’s also an advance 1 day and both are great at all levels of riding. Don’t short cut it. Safety is managed better with some baseline skills and improve with time. Without the knowledge your baseline is significantly lower and only digresses with influences that subscribe to anything less than safe and respectful riding . Getting in front of relevant information both from in-class and riding Range work absolutely instills things and refreshes the old horses if they’re being honest. Getting the feel of slow speed balance on 2 wheels, turning using your head, eyes, utilization of correct gas, brake and clutch modulation takes practice executing within the spaces required for the course, while proving helpful in the real world. Mind-set used and techniques for riding over small obstacles as you would if crossing railroad tracks or even surfaces. Granted, on-road realities can’t really be experienced other than by doing it, but you can locate places to practice until you feel comfortable enough to hit the freeways. In terms of which bike is right for you, you’ll want to do numerous free demo-rides before buying. Jeeping it simple, just ride bikes you think you like. If you can demo the bike out on the road, you can ride it. Look up Ride Like A Pro and MC Rider here on KZread for some really good info on mind-set, safety and good practicable techniques. Bottomline is safety. Gear up properly or go home! Know the law and have a ton of fun if It’s awesome out here! We’re waiting for you brother! Again, life’s short, just buy the bike! Just my .2.

My bike went from a scary handling bike to one that felt as though I was riding on a monorail. He was patient and through adjusting a little bit here try it and get input. He followed me on the track, I followed him. He is EXCEPTIONAL. Besides being a great guy. Thanks Dave for a much improved ride, better confidence. Not to mention much improved lap times.

It would be great if you can just make one vid just about the SF4's hamdling in corners. Not seen any videos that have a great focus on how the SF4 rides thru' the corners. Hej CAli ! Would be nice to se a setup on the regular Tuono 660 ( not RS ) to se what adjustments that can be made and so on . Like static sag and front forks . nobody has done this , The RS version is way different . and can't be replicated to the regular tuono 660

    Btw, the Streetfighter does not have the V4R frame and stock valving is quite light, C1/R1 per Ohlins spec card.

  • @BrianEvansracer

    @BrianEvansracer

    4 жыл бұрын

    @@CaliMotoTV I have the spec cards, Ohlins doesn't make them public so you would not be aware unless you are an Ohlins service center or have access to the knowledge base. Dave certainly knows his stuff for sure but there was some incorrect info so in the interest of being helpful I posted. The frame is black but does not have the cutouts from the R, I wish it did but you know how Ducati does, next year they will make a Streetfighter R and use that frame....take a look for yourself behind the side panel, no cutout, right?

    Probably great content. Unfortunately same issue for me as some comments below. After 5 minutes had to stop watching because the annoying guy interviewing keeps on interrupting and making noises after almost every sentence Dave speaks. No offense but please be quiet and let the expert do the talking.
