First ride up there not long ago did that hill in the dry. Was a bit tricky haha

Cheers mate, Swapped them today to CR High Bend. Riding tomorrow and see if my elbow tendons love me again 🙂

@@thebraapfarm Yes mate, I have a little 200ml 'mower pack' oil bottle that I put in the void near the air filter. Carried 100ml - enough for a 5lt top up and no maths involved 😁 New bars were better today, I'm still sore in the arms, but only because they haven't fully recovered from the last ride 🙂

Thanks Rich, Yes I do miss the 300 SEF, both great bikes and I can see why they are both so popular. They're very different, but both great at the same things, 2T is a tractor down low in hard going and the 4T is a rocket from the mid range up to the top end.... And faster than the 2T in open single track.

Just spent a bit of time going through your vids and really enjoyed them. I’m in my mid 40’s just sold mxer keen on making the switch full time to the bush and interested in the two stroke. How have you found the reliability in 300?

Hey, thanks for the message. I've had 3 x Shercos now and have no real issues other than small random 'things that just happen'. The 21 300SE has been great and I'm getting towards 50hrs now. About the only issue I've had is a stiff fuel tap that weeped a little when turned. Hardly life altering 🙂 That sweet 300cc 2 stroke torque is addictive and the KYB suspension takes anything you care to throw at it. About the only common complaint is that the standard lithium battery is allergic to cold weather.... something my bike never sees in the top half of Australia. If you are somewhere near the recommended weight, the stock suspension will very likely suit you without the need to spend up at a tuner (I'm a bit over but still rides fine) Otherwise, jet it, fuel it and SEND it 🙂👌

@@huntfishride No worries at all. The two 300s are about the best bikes around in my opinion. The 300 SEF 4 stroke is a do it all every day bike, capable of some technical riding or ripping through dome single track and the 300 SE 2 stroke is a bike that can lug way down low and pull smoothly all the way up to the top. The hardest part is choosing between them
