Dude I love watching your riding area terrain. The red dirt is beautiful compared to our Canadian dirt. I know that sounds funny but just sayin! Hello from BC Canada! WADZ

I love watching you on your sherco danger mouse. It's got me wanting to get a sherco 300 smoker.

Have you ever had a chance to ride a Sherco model that comes with the KYB open cartridge forks? Here in the US they offer the race edition with KYB open cartridge and the Factory model with closed.

Hey mate, Thanks for the message. Short answer is no, Sherco Australia doesn't import that model any more as it was around 10% of sales - most owners buying the Factory version. That said, I've owned a couple of different bikes with the OC KYBs over the years and the bikes I had with them (early WR450F and Husky TE449) both rode better than the WP Xplor. Not as good as the CC fork, but they can still be used in general single track and forest riding, some owners prefer them for technical riding like hard enduro. Not a great choice if you like big jumps 🙂

I loved both my 300 SEFs, the new engine sounds like it will be a great thing 👍 Everyone likes less weight and more power. Will be interesting to see it in the new chassis when that arrives next version too.

Anyone dyno the 24 sef 300? Looking for more than my 250fx but don’t like the heavy feel of ktm 350.

Hi, thanks for checking out the video. Sherco themselves have stated that the engine has increased 6hp. I'm not aware of any tests done since the release. I can tell you that my older 2019 300SEF was 39hp at the tyre, or about the same as a tuned KX25OF from the same year on that same Dyno. The thing about my Sherco was that it had much more power everywhere else in the rev range than the KXF 👍 Those who have ridden the new bike reckon its a ripper. (Ex Aussie Enduro series friend is trading his Sherco 500 in on the new 300)👍

@@Danger_mouse 43hp at the wheel and a much broader power and more torque off the bottom would do it. Basically that’s like a ktm 350 xcw (not xcf)… which is perfect. New frame for 25 model year… next year?

@@Fontainebleauify That about sums it up, yes, and those orange bikes you mentioned ride like a bigger bike (I've ridden several over the years EXC and Husky versions) I'm lead to believe they are actually lighter, but they certainly don't feel it. If the sources I get my info from are correct, yes, we should see the new frame for all models on the 25 models 👌 Things like lighter overall weight, better air filter access, new plastics design etc. I'm actually considering going back to the SEF myself. It will be a tough call, as I personally expect to see the 2T with EFI - Something I've been hanging out for.
