Ok but 3:10 - 3:17 that Audio with the equalizer is so satisfying to listen to, I’ve replayed it like 20 times now

Speaker locations for clarification: 2 on dash (centre), one on each A-Pillar (diamond), two in each of the doors (1 tweeter, one mid-range), woofer under each seat, two each side of the rear seats , 4 on the parcel shelf. 16 in total. 3 Diamond Tweeters, 4 Aluminum tweeters, 7 midrange drivers, 2 sub woofers. Amp in the boot/trunk.

Finally a channel I’ve been lookin forever 😭😭

Loved my m5 with the diamond sound. I would drive around town just to vibe out🔥🔥

Thanks! Bass was decent but not great. Our most-recent sound tests have some new songs with better bass. I think the first one is the Quattroporte.

My Volvo XC90 has their top level Bowers & Wilkins audio system and it's worth every bit of its $3200 price.

Every B&W from Volvo that I've heard blows this one out of the water. Typically BMW systems are better than this, at least at this price point.

So glad you enjoyed! Sure thing, we should have a C-class by the end of the year. The Burmester systems tend to be quite good, but every car is different, so we'll definitely test it.

the harman kardon in the 3 series g20 are superior to the 2017-2020 c class, the c class has a cheap creaking sound and cracking caused by the lack of high quality pannels in the interior, just like every other benz, same goes with the 2021 gle and e class

Thats why you have some tuning to be able to get the sound you want

Hey bud great content just a quick one I guess its always better to have engine on start so that the voltage doesn’t cause any issues I had my car’s speakers messed up while listening on only battery power and yeah it was HK on bmw F10

I do wonder if the harman kardon option on the 8 series sound better or worse than this underwhelming B&W

i want a car (thats going to be my first car) to have rlly good sound, playing music in a car rlly loud and tons of bass is such a vibe and makes me rlly happy

Go with a Panamera with the Burmester system. I have had three of them. Best BY FAR.

Doesn't it have subs under the seats? My 10 year old E91 has a sub under each front seat and although they aren't great subs they do provide enough bass to seriously vibrate the car.

Yea he should atleast know the basics, doesn't seem very professional to me... 2000s Bmws all have 8inch subwoofers under the seats.

I've personally heard this system in two BMWs and it sounds great and worth the cost. Second, it's not true that every stereo system is designed to be played flat, thats a ridiculous opinion. Stereo appreciation is entirely subjective based on a number of factors including each person's ability to hear different sound frequencies. Finally, you need some better source material to use to evaluate sound systems; there are a number of audiophile test files out there that many of the manufacturers use.

is the system much better than the G20 H&K for 1000$

From ur rating it means this sound system is a little inferior than hk in m2c? Comparing to that vid clearly this has much less midbass/bass. No punch at all on rock track. Maybe this has a better mid/highs (the b&w signature), but quite disappointing at this car price. I owned bmw m340i and was a bit frustrated bc sound was low and not punchy or crisp as my old 328if30 used to be.

Where can I buy the set

This happens because BMW is very notorious in playing fake engine sounds through its speakers which sometimes affects treble and base.....

You could review a B&W of a mclaren! Would be really nice

Had to give your video a thumbs down for a few reasons. First, take the time to review the manufactures information before shooting a video about sound systems, saying you don't know where the speakers are at instantly makes you sound less than credible. Second, in less the Bowers & Wilkins system comes with unique menus in the iDrive then the iDrive system isn't a reason to like or dislike the B & W system. Third, the cost of the car is irrelevant, you're supposed to be giving your opinion on if the B & W system is worth $3400 over the stock Harman / Kardon system.

Me. I am looking arround for this reason. My local stores have no cars where i can test the System because they have to lower their car selection due to corona so they selected the most common cars.

@@namelessmusik4345 I’m lucky enough to have dealers who keep both in stock. Going straight from one to the other it’s obvious the differences. If you are a casual music listener or don’t have $3400 to waste then you’ll be happy with the HK. If you love music or have deep pockets then get the BW and enjoy!

How can you have good bass when you have it set to medium in your settings? Treble should be max and bass 3/4 and on stage. Then this system sounds great. At the beginning you need to be able to set up the system and not judge without having the slightest idea about it 🤦🏻

Audio engineers design their system to be balanced and what they consider to be "right" at the middle of the sound settings. To demonstrate to our viewers, we use these settings. However, we also set the audio system to our preferred settings when we're driving around off camera.

That’s personal choice. But I personally have my iPhone eq on flat. I get better sound on my car system. I only turn down mids -2. What kind of car and system do you have by chance

green and brown isnt the best spec. very nice video tho :) but wish it would be in 4k

There are 16 drivers in the cabin. Your content could have been far more informative if you had done some research before creating your video. A huge amount of engineering went into the creation of that system which should have conveyed. Otherwise I think you did a great job with operational detail.
