I had same experience also, I have Harman in my X5 and my brother have Bowers in his X7, I prefer sound of my X5 as it works best in every music I throw on it, it always delivers sound experience I want hence after first tuning I never touched it again, while in X7 bowers I tend to keep changing it to get them to sound to my likings depending on music.... The Bowers definitely sounds the more expensive one but not the most statisfying to me at least.

Does the audio system in X7 or X5 vibrate your seats (has subwoofer inside the seats) like iX?

@@taekcool It have woofer underseat I believe but you will only feel subwoofer basically vibrating the whole interior not that seats have subs inside it like IX

Love so much the iX and I love it even more, with the B&W System !!!

4:47 I feel like this would be cool for the rear seats for cars that have backseat entertainment systems so you could feel the rumble when watching movies.

BMW is doing an awesome job with their sound systems. What songs do you use for our evaluation of a sound system before you record Charlie?

Hopefully in the next 10 years lower models will have a system like this

While I do not own a IX but i did listen to one with the diamond system. It was really something.

So good to hear about the Harman Kardon being as good or better. I ordered an ix 50 in March with the B and W, but it couldn't be produced until after June when they switched to the 2023 production year where they dropped the B and W as an available option. I ordered the Harman Kardon as I'm very happy with (love) my Harman Kardon in my 2012 BMW Activehybrid 7. In a test drive with the ix with Harman Kardon I felt it was exactly like my current system, so I think you will be happy with the Harman Kardon if you buy an ix 50 now.

The B&M system is now available for the iX50 under the premium package. If your car is not yet in production you can still make the switch.

I think he misspoke about the ix Harman kardon. He hasn’t tested that yet, just the bowers. I think he’s talking about the i4,

I'm so sorry to hear that you couldn't get an iX with the B&W system. I just test drove an iX 50 with the H&K system, and it's not even in the same ball park as the B&W system with double the quantity of speakers.

Hi there great review. Could you please tell which mode (Studio, Concert, Stage) you had this on ?

Hmmmmm... concert mode sounds pretty good. Clean, low distortion, quiet cabin no audible interior rattling. Wondering how well these tracks would sound in studio mode? I thought studio mode made all the difference in the members video.

You said a bit of high end is missing. How do you compare this system to Volvo's B&W given that they have a dedicated tweeter that sticks out and is pointed directly at the listeners to solve this exact issue I imagine?

For me, after having had a plethora of different cars over the years, the tesla has had the best sound system by far. My iX is due to arrive in 3 weeks and opted for the HK as I didn't notice much difference to justify the extra cost implications.

The Volvo XC90. Strikes the perfect balance for me between warm and bright. Next would be GX460, that's like listening to a mahogany bookshelf. Third would be the RR Phantom since it's so silent inside.

@DailyMotor those are some great choices I really want to hear the xc90 b&w now, as for the RR I doubt I'll ever get to test that one 😂 and the gx460 I heard it and it was probably the best I heard beside the lx570 I really hope you can test that new qx80 klipsh system and see how it fairs

@@prawnstar9213you can upgrade it with aftermarket gear and it will sound at least as good as the b&w in the iX. I habe heared the iX B&W and its good but not impressive imo
