Thanks! And trust me you won't be disappointed. I had my f30 328i, then a 340i and then got into this and fell in love all over again. And that's even after the m3 which says a lot!

At the end you mentioned the m340i makes you question whether you like it more than the f30 m3. is the m3 so "bad" when it comes to daily driving and which one would you chose if you look at the complete package in terms of costs, performance and daily driving? thx!

Thanks for the feedback! This is a good question! The M3 is an awesome daily, but the Dual Clutch is nowhere near as smooth as the 8speed auto. The M340i is just so much more comfortable of a driving experience with the ability to switch into a more aggressive driving style on demand. The M3 even in its most mild settings is still so sporty and I've realized that sometimes I just want that oh so smooth BMW ride lol. A fully loaded M340i is a complete package and the best daily in my eyes, but it will never give you the track inspired M3 feel. That to me is the only difference.

XDrive has transfer box windup issues as common with many AWD set ups. Fussy with tyre wear you may end up needing to change more tyres than you would if RWD. The XDrive also adds a fair amount of weight with handling benefits. Added that you would save 2k by not having it then surely unless you live somewhere it snows a lot why bother with the AWD? In Europe we don’t get the option of RWD :( hopefully they will do a limited edition version of RWD. I don’t know why it’s not available here. Perhaps it because they think there would be too small a price difference between 330i MS+ and M340 if you could get the M340 for 2k less.

Hi what size the front brakes ?

I picked up mine a month ago, coming from MB c43. It’s a nice car but I wish I picked up a rwd m340i instead... rwd trim feels more planted with a better control in high speed in normal weather conditions. People who are considering this car should definitely get rwd and just get snow tires for winter. It’s so much better.
