So a few things, first off I can’t believe it’s been a year already I feel like you just bought her! .. secondly all that matters is that you’re happy with your truck. People that get stuck on brand loyalty may be missing out on something else that may work better for them. I love my ram with the Cummins but I wouldn’t only buy ram if I needed a new truck I’d see what else was out there and test drive them all lol. And third that “slow resume” to your set speed just made me unbelievably jealous haha my truck down shifts and gives her hell just to go up 4 mph and make me look insane … definitely happy for you on your 350 and if I start looking I’d definitely try one out myself

I’m glad you’re happy with it. I’m out of the truck market right now, prices. When I do buy my next it will be the most “simplest” of designs, aka, Cummins.

Ive had 3 rams, 07.5, 15 and 21. I'm so over their transmissions including the aisin on my 21 and the 15 I had. Its stout but one gear can be too high and the next to low and its needs more gears in between. I'm looking at a ford for the first time for the 23 my. Looks like the cab will be updated with the new f150s and the truck just seems better in everyway, except the exhaut brake. One feature Ill miss on my 21 ram is the tire fill assist. I love that so hopefully ford will do something similar for 23.

You can also set a schedule to have your vehicle start whenever you want, like 0600 every weekday using FordPass. Beautiful truck. I love my ‘20 350 Tremor as well.

I’m a dodge guy myself. But you cannot deny that those fords are sharp! I almost bought a 2018 last year but ended up buying a clean Gen 3 dodge 2500. Couldn’t stray away from mopar, even if it was older with higher miles lol.

The resume cruise control thing is probably the only thing i hate about my Ram. I can totally relate to that

IMO all 3/4 ton diesels and all 1 tons should come with airbags as a factory standard option like you have to ask for them not to have them

Switched to 2020 F350 6.7 long bed from 2018 F150 Lariat.....bought it in perfect time of crisis before shortages kicked in and prices of heavy duty trucks went crazy.....took XLT fully fully loaded and i love it, dealer threw in leather interior of my choice, hard bed cover, spray in bed liner plus huge discount from MSRP. Didnt want Lariat because - keyless entry (was annoying the crap out of me while washing truck) and remote tailgate, pushed that button in pocked by accident too many times. Plus for sure no dual moon roof - had issues with it in F150. Adaptive cruise control annoys me as well - driving on cruise and going to left line to pass some slower car when close enough, with adaptive cruise im getting close and often not realizing that it slowed me down and for 10min im driving slower then i wanted......headlights upgraded to Morimoto what are better then factory - by function and look.

Great review Thomas! I’ve never been a Ford guy but have wondered. You see a lot of them out there so I think it’s gotta be more than brand loyalty. She’s a sweet looking rig! Did you order it and if so how long did it take to receive?

There’s nothing wrong with preferring a certain brand. But it’s probably not a good practice to blindly be brand loyal. I stick with my Rams with Cummins because every time I go new truck shopping the Rams are the best price for what I want. Which is diesel, dually, 4x4, and four doors, and exhaust brake. I’m due for a new one next year and just like the last few times I’ll go look at Fords, Chevrolets and probably settle on a Ram. But if the price is right I’ll drive a Ford or Gm product. My wife has driven Ford SUV’s since her 1999 excursion and still does. Edit- I’m running the Aisen transmission and I won’t buy another Ram without it. Absolutely zero complaints.

How is your upper oil pan? Any oil leaks, they are known for it, 2020-2021.

13 1/2 metric tonnes in a pick up and trailer! Over here in the U.K. you need a bigger licence to do anything over 3 1/2 metric tonnes. So anything over 7716 lbs.
