Great video, very easy to follow 👍👍!! One thing I didn't like was how the final under console lid cover snapped into place with the wiring just above the hinge, so I drilled my own seperate hole and applied some caulking while leaving it open overnight, hopefully never have to take it apart again 😝. None the less, works great and I'm very happy!!

Awesome, not a bad idea!

Just dropping a review- about a hour install, just because I was super tedious about how all the wires were ran. Works great- goes off with ignition, so I never have to really turn it on or off manually. It’s great for my wife or son, as they would plug into the usb to charge and it would play their music/video. Great product, great quality, best upgrade for my trail boss interior modifications. Even got a cuzi to sit back and drink a cold one after the install! Keep it up boost!!

Review 11/12/2021. This is a quality made set up. The wiring harness is especially done well. The instillation video covered everything. Note I would get all four of the self tapping screws and all four of the T15 screws started before tightening any of the down. The only issue I have is the lost depth in the tray.

@@royarroyo3212 the charge isn’t as powerful as the usb, but other than that it’s pretty nice $100 mod. Anytime the family is in the truck, someone has their phone on it. It will charge and still connect apple, so I can get my maps and all of it through the head unit still.

ONE THING TO NOTE ABOUT INSTALLATION: During the step when you disconnect the rear electrical plug underneath the rear cup panel - after lifting the red locking tab, MAKE SURE to press in on the grey part of the clip underneath the red tab in order to get the plug to release upward and come out of the brown socket. This was not clear in the video. If you do not press in on the grey part of the clip, it will not come out and you may damage it. If it feels like you are forcing it, you are don’t doing it correctly! Once the correct part of the grey piece is press, the piece will remove easily. I hope this helps someone, as I had to figure it out on my own. The rest of my review: When I first came across this video while searching for wireless charging options for my 2021 Chevrolet Trail Boss, the product was sold out and on back order. I signed up for the email notification, and the product came back in stock a couple weeks later. Order and have now completed the install. Overall, the install was pretty strait forward and the video does an excellent job of walking through all steps. It was very helpful. After installation, the charger worked right away on both iPhone Pro and Pro Max size phones. Have not yet tested how fast or well this product actually charges phones yet. Overall, I definitely recommend this product so far. Clean looking, and pretty easy to install! Looks like OEM parts, as if it was meant to come with the Truck/SUV.

Installed mine today, The screws on the underside of the the are T20 on the 2022 refresh model. Also I was able to get away without have to drill a hole in the back of the cup holder. Cable fits perfect and doesn't rub next to the hinge. Wish I could add a picture.

Good product. Installed in my 21 Sierra AT4. Charger is a bit touchy with my phone (Samsung note 8) due to its size but will be primarily used by my wife anyway. Question: this seems to work even when my truck is off. Is there any significant drain on the battery if the charger is left "on" but nothing charging on it? Thank you! Video was very helpful.

Not - there is not a significant drain when the vehicle is off as long as a phone is not charging. If you'd like to deactivate it you can press and hold the button for 3 seconds and the charger will power down.

Will it work for a 2021 High Country and will the install video match what needs to be done on my truck?

Have you guys product tested for drink spills on the pad? I'm not sure how it all works but it looks fairly exposed under the mat for if a drink or something were to get spilled on the centre console. Any insight on this would be great. Genuinely interested in the product but wanted to make sure i understand a bit the risk of water getting under that mat somehow. Thanks in advance.

As with most electrical components, there is some level of resistance however efforts need to be made to keep fluids away to prevent damage.

We do not have any other harness adaptation, however if you do not have the rear 12V outlet you can simply provide a 12V power to the red wire, and ground to the black wire. Please note this version of the charger only fits trucks with a full center console (NOT jump seat).

Well I install this thing on my 2021 Sierra a couple of months ago.. the issue I have is it gets hot and then shuts off.. I took the fast charging switch off on the phone it last a little longer but it still gets hot and then stops charging.. so it actually ends up being better to put it back on the GM charger with a lower voltage at least it doesn't shut off.. not sure what I can do

This video gives misleading info. I bought it for my 2019 chevy silverado high country which full console looks exactly as it loos in the video and it does not fit properly. The wireless charger pad is too thick to fit and the bottom surface of the console lid is flat( does not have a depression to accommodate the extra thickness) so the charger sits about 3/8 higher from the original flat surface. The only way to make it fit is trim out the bottom flat surface of the lid exactly to the shape of the bulky charger . Don't know how other comments mention a perfect fit.

The charging surface is raised slightly compared to the OEM mat to increase the size of the charging zone. Larger phones do not fit in the factory opening. Our charger should still sit sub-flush in the cutout. If yours is not, something is incorrect and you should contact our support team with pictures and your VIN at support@boostautoparts.com for guidance
