According to chevy engineers they still have the long antenna because they have a large percentage of rural customers. They don't want that part of the market to suffer with radio signal issues because of a short antenna. Just a fun fact.

I would like to add to Mando's comment.... Where I live there are many underground parking areas, the factory antenna works as a quick guide to know if the truck is too high for the parking garage.

Ive had a zillion antennas on my cars over the years, never bothered me. At least it’s black! Actually, I think the tiny antenna looks more obvious. The short stubby effect sticking up making people wonder where the rest of your antenna went.

For the tint you can use the soapy water method. Works way easier. You can move it around while still on the headlight. Just move it around. Line it up. Squeegee out the water and use heat gun if need too.

Purchased the same exact antenna for my 2020 back in January. Have had no issues so far, and looks 100 times better than the stock antenna. Excited to see what else you do!

Totally bought the corner headlight tent stuff. That look slick. Gonna plastic dip those z71 badges black soon too.

I love the way Baby Boss is looking so far. CANT WAIT FOR WHEELS AND TIRES

The little things add up to a nice truck that catches your eye but you can't quite figure out why

Man I love the way the grill looks on the custom trims

Just tinted mine and did 30% ceramic tint on the windshield and you can see out great and can't see in. Blocks much more uv then regular tint! But def find a new tint shop paid 300 for the whole truck with ceramic. But great video!

I got this same antenna. My HD channels sometimes cut out but I don’t listen to the radio much. I play most of my music through my phone. This antenna does look great though vs the factory antenna. A nice cheap addition!

Never did like that "fishing pole" antenna on my 2019 LTZ. Hell Chevy used to hide the antenna in the windshield decades ago. Wonder why they didn't keep that up? Anyway, I popped on that shortie antenna, because I never really listen to radio anyway, I listen to SiriusXM. Going to have my front driver and passenger windows tinted too.

Just gone mine last week. I got the same antenna like yours. Need to get my windows tint and so the sides like yours. I got the sand color one. looks amazing... I'm pissed because I took it one night parket the truck away from other cars . came out and seen a tone of trucks around my truck but when I got home i notice a door ding... PISSED ME OFF... now I have to figure out how to fix it. Some people just don't care!!!!!!

Just get some better looking wheels and tires with an offset or get wider wheels and tires. Stock wheels don't look too great to me. And I'm a Chevy nut

Hey man I have the same truck almost and I seen this video awhile back. Hope someone on here can help me. Instead of blacking lights out I'm actually changing everything that dodnt come with the LEDs and I have everything. Turn signals (I'd definitely do that to yours. Makes them super crisp) license plate and reverse and the ONLY bulbs I cant seem to get to are those little marker lights! Do you have any idea how to get them out!? It makes me think they're already LEDs but they definitely dont look like it. Any help super appreciated!

I have drive mine from San Diego, OR, WA, AZ and again to OR in 3 weeks for elk season - I just passed 35k, I’ve had it for a little over a year… love it. I’m installing some air bags for a 26 foot toy hauler and an additional fuel cell… couldn’t be happier with it.

If you put a leveling and the black wheel setup off baby squat and a camper shell would look clean

theres no r factor protection on those back windows so your gonna wanna get the back windows tinted at some point it will keep your truck cooler inside just my psa for ya

I also agree the trailers is on of the best looking trucks from the factory. I have a 2022 RST with the z71 package and looks great but not as good as the TB. Nice vid

What exhaust do you have?

looks good! I just can't get over the goofy looking mirrors. Have you noticed better visibility on the sides with that style. In rare occasions my 2018 side mirrors block some of my view.

There's almost no blind spot with these I thought about getting the factory tow mirrors for mine till I drove it and it's almost perfect

5% all around and 35% on the windshield. Privacy and it's much cooler in there with ceramic tint

The sides reflectors may look good tinted but they serve a purpose at night

Yo man been watching your vids for a while. I have a 2017 5.3 that I had bought some emblems for and later realized they would t really work for me. But they would look sick on yours. It’s just the big z71 emblems in red and black. If you’re interested I’ll gladly send them to you. Sure u could make a vid out of it. I have a set of the same colored smaller emblems as well but I might still use them Edit: would be a safety net for you to remove yours and see if you like this one de badged like your last

I just ordered tyger blade running boards you can see some pics of them on Amazon with the trail boss. Took a gamble on them 🤞
