Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Hi, in this video I will show you step-by-step on how to install an aftermarket amp and a sub in your 2019 Camry. I'm sure it also works for some of the older Camrys. Don't forget to put some black tape on the RCA connector of the output that your doing on the side or wherever right away.
Products used:
amp kit wires - amzn.to/3gpvwWl
rca output - amzn.to/3kgrK2p
Here is a video how to remove the door panels: • 2019 toyota camry door...

If you want to run speaker wire from an amp to the front door and tweeter harness (they're linked/parallel) how do you patch in? Is it the same wire color as the B pillar you patched into?

@nester auto repair great video! I tried to pull sound from the same place you were working behind the driver side panel, but I assumed the black and red wires that I found at the speaker were also the same behind the door in that harness 😔. So those 2 wires you used, the purple/white and yellow/white do you think I can pull high level input from those??? And just use high level input??

Making sure installing one isn’t too difficult before I get a new car lol. Seems doable. Would you recommend some kind of switch between the battery and the sub? I never ran anything into my fuse box in my current Hyundai. My amp is designed for car use so it turns off automatically and I’ve never had issues of the battery draining

Would you know where you poked the hole if there are any computer wires that might be a issue for a 100 Watt Transceiver? I am trying to find the best path back to the trunk and at the same time staying away from any sensitive car computer wires. Thanks,

Thank you. I’m hooking up a 2014 Corolla. I was originally going to go after market with the stereo, but the backup camera and steering wheel controls was way too time consuming with the two toddlers, so I’m doing this instead. However I hooked my amp up to the right of the fuse (didn’t see this video til now) and even though my remote light wasn’t on, I took your advice and checked with my test light, and you are correct! Power goes to the remote regardless of ignition. Wow! Thank you for that... As far as the RCA goes, I’m splicing into the rear 6x9 with the RCA speaker wires from one end, and females for the male RCA cables to run the rest of the way to the amp. I see the RCA converter you have has some kind of funky looking box... What is that? Because now it’s got me thinking twice about the signal I’m going to be receiving from my 6x9s to my amp. Will it be compromised? Can someone please advise my situation? I will post video when I’m complete. If your input helps me out, I will ring your bell!! 🔔 Have a wonderful New Year, God Bless everyone, -D Griffin

The signal will not make a different , if you are doing this for your self go for it, but when doing this for customer this is the faster and easy way to do it , let's say you crack something there at the dash , what ever you are charging will not be enough , so at the door will be safe

Hey don’t know if you still look at these comments but I wanted to ask something. Do you have any static feedback? Like does a hiss noise come from your speakers? I had my speakers replaced and an amp put in but that created a hiss noise and they said it was because the stock head unit amp isn’t as powerful . To get rid of the hiss they told me I would have replace the stock head unit with an aftermarket one . I would rather not since it’s expensive and the new dash kit I would have to use would ruin the look. So yeah, I was wondering if you had this problem

  • @Wavefront101

    @Wavefront101

    2 жыл бұрын

I think the hiss noise can occur when you run the signal wire going to the amp to close to other wires which emit noise. This wire should be run away from all other wires to not absorb the noise.

This video was very helpful. One thing that I will mention to anyone using an Audio Control LC2i or above, do no add the left positive and negative signal to the left and right channels of the unit. When turning the unit up at high volumes it shorts and turns off. You will only use the left on left and if you want a right signal be sure to follow these same steps for the passenger side. I believe the right positive is purple and red and the negative is purple and green.

The best place to ground your amp is under the back seat on the left side or right side that is not a good ground on the upper rear deck on the 2018 through 2020 Camry. The output on the stock head unit puts out a very weak signal on the rear channel, you have to tap into the front speakers right and left not from only one side, run a lead from front left positive and negative and front right positive and negative that way your fader works correctly. to find you're positive and negative for right and left use a multimeter, it is very easy. don't go by the digrams out there they are not accurate, they have not come ut with the correct wire diagram for 2018 through 2020 Camry yet.

@@adrianbucio3650 I was using the lc2i, I am using a dsp now to get rid of the factory eq curve because I want that clarity and good mid bass from my door speakers. With the lc2i I was getting crappy mids and highs because taping the front speaker is only good for the subs because of the factory eq. if you are only going to run door speakers tap into the rear it has a better eq curve for mids and highs or just run two lc2i’s one for the front and one for the rear. I don’t know what Toyota was thinking with that factory eq curve. Make sure they use a scope or a smd dd1 to tune your system; most places do it by ear. It's the shity rear speaker plastic cover. That long grey cover in the back of your car. It's really flimsy. It rattles against the windows, and shakes like crazy. Also the license plate, put some doubel sided tape behind it, all behind it so it doessn't rattle. Also for the trunk buy these. Put just a few pieces on the inside (remove the fabric shit, put it back when done.) www.amazon.com/Noico-deadening-Automotive-Insulation-dampening/dp/B01KZ5X7KO/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?crid=9WPKTXEJW6CI&dchild=1&keywords=sound+deadening+mat&qid=1593385477&s=electronics&sprefix=sound+deade%2Celectronics%2C131&sr=1-2-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUFQVzNHNjdCWFFNQkwmZW5jcnlwdGVkSWQ9QTEwMjM3MzAxVFoyN0tOUFRRSjdXJmVuY3J5cHRlZEFkSWQ9QTA0MzU4NzUzVVM1VThMVTlVWDM2JndpZGdldE5hbWU9c3BfYXRmJmFjdGlvbj1jbGlja1JlZGlyZWN0JmRvTm90TG9nQ2xpY2s9dHJ1ZQ== So, get these, put them under the back plastic piece, and the sides pannels. Also put some foam where the piece may touch the window. Line your trunk, and put doubel sided take on the license plate, or this same shit. Enjoy.

Hey thanks for your concern , but this was a bran new car I believe it was 2 weeks old when I did this so one this car been so new if I disconnect the battery and then the radio get lock/block then more work for me ,, two you don't need to disconnect the battery to do a sound system , that's your choice,, the system still working like day one ,, this is not the first sound system that I done , but like I say if you want to put everything out of wack got for it

I went to the hardware store and bought a long screwdriver for 5 bucks and made it work. Also I took the small plastic cover in the door jam to easily see where it was coming from.
