2019 Santa Cruz Bronson Factory Demo - Wilder Ranch State Park

I went down to Santa Cruz and rented a 2019 Bronson from the Santa Cruz factory. I rode almost 11 miles up in Wilder Ranch State Park. This was my favorite ride this year.

Cool ride, this is a bike I have not done a video on in the SC lower linkage line up. I hope to soon. I've done the new HT, the MegaT, and new Tallboy but not the Bronson. Love your video.

The one thing that I really liked about the video is that you took it on a good mix of trails from smooth common trails to some light tech as well as some nice single track in the woods. Me and my son are waiting on our LBS to get a 2019 Bronson in the Large so we can test ride it. I know what bike we would absolutely love to have but it's quite a bit more money and right now just a tad out of my price range.

StrikeForce MTB the trails there offer up just about everything. If you are anywhere near Nor Cal I highly recommend coming to Santa Cruz to ride. Use the Trailforks app to find some great riding.

@@TheActiveLife20 maybe one day man but I'm in the hills of North Central West Virginia so just a bit to far to go right now. lol I was in Nor Cal back in 1990 when I was in the Navy but haven't been back to the west coast since then. But I guarantee that once I get things worked out me and my son will be making some trips that way for some more good riding and racing.

Beautiful trail (love the hub sound!) and nice video. I had a short travel trail bike and thought my next ride was gonna be something like the Bronson but was afraid it was going to be too much bike too haul around. Rode a Trek Fuel and fell in love! Maybe someday I can have my “trail” bike AND an “enduro” machine😁

I rode a few bikes before deciding which one to get. The difficult part is that I had a blast riding each of them! I originally thought the Bronson would be too much bike for me and was leaning towards the Santa Cruz 5010. But after riding the Bronson and seeing how well it climbed I wasn't concerned that it was too much. Enjoy your Fuel!

The Active Life 2.0 good to know! Maybe I’ll demo one for a big day and see for myself. They seem pretty capable of just about anything. Did you buy the Bronson? I can watch “unboxing” videos all day long 😊

@@TrailBreaker I did buy a Bronson. And while there won't be an 'unboxing' video but I'm working on a bike check and first rides video. My first ride out with the new bike I had forgotten to reformat my SD card for my GoPro and it filled up. Rookie mistake!

I am going to be doing a demo ride soon. From what I gather this trail starts close to the factory. How long did it take you to finish the ride? My bike mechanic wants me to demo a Bronson and a 5010, trying to gauge how long the wife gets to shop in Santa Cruz before she picks me up lol! Great vid thank you for posting!

The trailhead is about a mile and a half from the factory. It's an easy ride right from the factory down a bike path. I think I was out for about 2 hours total. It would have been easy to stay out longer as I was having so much fun and there were many more trails. If you are going to ride both bikes the same day you'll be out longer. I also rode the 5010 before I made a decision. That video is coming to the channel soon. I highly recommend that you get the Trailforks app. All the trails are on the map and you can see right where you are. Have fun!

Hey @motobiker35 yes I did buy a Bronson. I’ve been riding it for over a year now and I am super happy with it. It’s the most fun bike I’ve ridden and really handles the techy riding in my area.

Brian from BKXC is the king of riding MTB trails, but this is not bad either. I'm 59 years old and got myself a Trek Marlin 6, two month ago. Riding MTB is really great fun, at any age.

I demoed one after spending a year demoing different bikes to figure out my next ride. Then I bought one- it’s supposed to arrive tomorrow- Industry Blue C R+ with red logo stickers, red Diety Copperhead 35 mm long stem, Renthal 800 mm handlebars, Red Diety TMac pedals. Can’t wait. Feed that beast some gnar baby- that’s what she wants. I have a three part video on my channel of some chunky Appalachian Trails if you wanna see how she does in that (spoiler alert- awesome!). Unfortunately it was rainy and super slick so I really couldn’t get her up to the speed she wanted to go, but even in the wet she was a blast. Keep us updated if you get one. kzread.info/dash/bejne/pHpsmKpskta7k8o.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/hpmmyc6Fn5PLqZs.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/gop32NeoqpTMhso.html

The Active Life 2.0 def nice in their own right, although sometimes I do long for the those nice long, flowing and open trails with sweet berms and jumps that they have out west! If you ever get up to DC or WV/ Western Maryland area hit me up and we’ll go chew up some east coast gnar. And editing is the worst!!! Lol I hate it.
