I like the exterior of the Nautilus more than the Edge and I like that Lincoln is starting to bring back real car names. But I think Lincoln (and Ford) need to upgrade the details of their interiors. The fonts and buttons used for the controls seem like the same old stuff that has been around for a long time and used in less expensive models.

Part of it comes from the Ford restructuring following the 2008 recession. They had too many brands, with different parts for each brand. They tightened the production by sharing some parts between brands and models.
That intro was the sickest thing I’ve seen/heard in review video in a long time. Sick angles, loving it

Drove the 2.0T on a road trip Toronto to Montreal and back... was very impressed with the capability of the 4-banger on the highway with the 8-speed transmission. Overall Lincoln has done a great job with the Nautilus. Also Lincoln uses real wood in their interiors. Each interior which uses wood has inlays all each made from the same piece of wood to ensure matching wood gradients per vehicle. Not all luxury OEMs do this, but Lincoln does for sure. FYI Jacob & Yuri for your next Lincoln review!

@@JustangGT500 Yes, older models, with less features. That, or models with insanely high miles. The model that they're testing is still going for 40-50k usd, used. This is a very typical drop in a used car. 50k usd isn't that much for an entry level luxury brand anymore. Even non luxury brands are costing that, when you spec them out. That being said, if you're looking for an entry level car, I'd be looking more for a used C class, where you can get it for 20-25k usd for a 2017 model, with roughly 20k miles. Seeing as you're not buying this for the "size", as there's really not much, you're buying it because you want it. If that's the case, get the more luxurious, used, C class. You will be more happy. That, or look into a used continental, if you're going to stick with Lincoln. The interior destroys this model, and it can be found for roughly 10-15k usd less.

Thank you for this review. I was seriously looking into this for a new vehicle and y’all made some fair points to look elsewhere.
Well was again happy to hear the Santa Fe mentioned in a satisfactory way. I have not owned anything other than a Hyundai/Genesis/Kia brand for my personal car since 2000. Wr have had plenty of other vehicles brands for the family or wifes personal use. Most of which were SUV's. Jeep Grand Cherokee, Chevy Trailblazer, Expedition, and Nissan Pathfinder. My wife bounced between a car and SUV her last few vehicles, currently having a Maxima. She wants back into a SUV and kinds of wants all the bells and whistles without having to pay 70 plus thousand. I think I convinced her into finally going with Hyundai and been showing her all the great reviews of the 2019 Santa Fe. So thanks guys as your review played a major role getting her excited about the all new Santa Fe. But I showed her that Hyundai is soon releasing the Palisade and she said she really liked the looks of that. I said we will wait for the test reviews if she can hold off. So here's hoping Hyundai soon puts these vehicles on the lots . Most of all hoping it's even more exciting than the Santa Fe. Also told her Genesis might release there new SUV this year which I think will be called the GV80. From what I hear pricing is supposed to be very good on this vehicle and told her she might want to wait for that.
I like you guys. You’re nice to each other and make amusing comments back and forth that make me smile. I watch you even if I don’t want that car.

Matching the heinous transition from the infotainment system GOT ME 😂😂
I love your reviews. It made me realize one of my new biggest pet peeves in cars. Why do car brands make adjustment functions (seats, mirrors, etc) so that you HAVE TO MOVE TO ADJUST THEM. Seriously, how am I supposed to know if I can see/be comfortable if I have to lean forward to the infotainment to switch or lean forward to a dial?! It seems so intuitive to make those things adjustable from sitting in a natural driving position. Keep up the amazing work!!! You’ll get that 1,000,000 subs for sure!

Lincoln has come a long way in ten years, in terms of quality and unique design language. The Value for Money is high, but in the the Luxury segment the devil is in the details. Lincoln has more work to do in the detailing and interior material department but I guarantee in the next 2-3 years they’ll be ironed out. Especially with the coming Aviator and the continued success of the Navigator. Excited to see the Black Label trim for the Nautilus!
@straightpipes, can you please link the intro song. I domt see any comments talking about it but it has grown on me like crazy. Not sure why lol
Big advantage over most competitors sadly no one mentions: the 2.7 engine has combined injection (both direct and port), so without the issues of direct injection only engines, much more durable. Lexus RX is the only competitor with combined injection.
@dh4605
5 жыл бұрын
The reason no one mentions it is because all ford 2.7 liter engines outside of the 2018+ model year Ford F-150 DO NOT have dual injection. The only vehicle Lincoln currently sells with dual injection is the 3.5 in the Navigator. Unfortunately the 2.7 in all other applications is Direct Injection only. Feel free to confirm with the Specifications listed on Lincoln's website along with the parts catalog which only offers a direct injector. I wish they had dual injection.

Juri, what kind of shirt is that you are wearing? Looks really good.
You guys fail to point out the strongest qualities of this SUV. It offers the most luxurious ride quality in its segment. It does not suffer bad NVH like the BMW, Porsche, and Mercedes have. For that reason alone, I would choose this SUV. And it’s actually for that reason why I came to watch your review. I was googling SUV’s with the best NVH ratings, and the Lincoln brand is always in the top 3 where the Germans are nowhere to be found. I have an X3 right now, and as much as I love its handling, the harsh ride and the rattling and wind noises annoy me. My friend’s Honda CRV has better NVH than my X3. The Nautilus will likely be my next car after my lease is over. I understand that you guys are more into sportiness than luxury, but as reviewers, you should still point out the selling points of the car you’re reviewing for the sake of consumers who may be looking for more luxury and comfort than sportiness.
How is it that you have so little views in this video? There's a lot of production and nice content overall, as all of them
What is up with the hood fitment over the headlights?
As an avid viewer I have to say you guys have truly spoiled us with high end car video content to the point that when is these "budget" and "peasant" level cars I'm not as interested. Always liked the rear end. Now it's perfect.
I think from the current and upcoming luxury two-row suv's I would buy this. It's so classy and not too flashy, Interior doesn't have a stupid I pad sticking out only a flushed screen. The name Nautilus sounds Nautical Lol. I'd rather have the loud beep because I'd know the vehicle is locked then a quiet one and it gives you a sense of security which we need here in Florida..

The grill reminds me of a Kia. As always, great video. Thanks for sharing!
Great to see a video on something I know so I can compare what you guys like or dislike vs me. I own a previous generation MKX with that grill and yes the new one does look better but also less unique. Went back to check the Macan video as you mentioned price being similar and then checked the used market for 2017 Macan vs 2017 MKX and they are nowhere near. Base Macan is much more expensive than even the 2.7T MKX; too bad because owning a Porsche once in my life would have been fun. I don't care much about sync3 either but I am 100% of the time in carplay so that does not matter to me. Missing heated steering wheel button IS driving me nuts. You wonder if the people building these cars are actually drivers themselves. I have the 2.7T so I have set D and S to be as different as possible so I'll drive S most of the time but I do have the D option to float the suspension and react more gradually to the gas. Also when using paddle shifters to downshit the D will go back to auto but S will stay on that gear(dropping to 1st on a red light).
Could you do the Mazda 3 (2019) either the hatchback or the sedan would be fine, or the Mazda CX-9 (2019) next please?
The front view reminds me of the older Q5 Version. Almost the same light, with a different grill in the middle ( which is almost the shape of the Kia "Tiger nose" ). The middle of the cockpit, the graphics on the infotainment and Speedo ... Nope ... - But again a cool and informative Review!
I just picked up my new 2019 Lincoln Nautilus and I absolutely love it! I have the bigger, better engine and did not go for the dumb and expensive 22 way seats with massage?! If I wanted a massage, I would drive my beautiful Nautilus to a spa!

You know what I mean right. There’s cool stuff, but it’s not stuff that’s cool to me
The drive mode menu settings are for people that want the suspension in sport mode all the time, even when the transmission is in the less aggressive normal mode. Or maybe you want the normal suspension setting to be Comfort in D and have it switch to Normal in S. After that, you just use the D and S buttons as you demonstrated, and you never have to go into the menu again. It is a one-time use sort of thing, but it allows people to configure the vehicle to their liking. Not really an issue to complain about.
Jacob, what's up with the reverse goatee?
I test drove one and loved it.
When’s the rs5 sportback review coming out? ;)
what if cliché corner's location is leaked? do you have a backup corner, or something? also, you should test cars that don't sell in canada... perhaps a 2018 suzuki swift boosterjet, in a gorgeous blue also, want to test my swift when you come to california?
For people complaining about the interior of the Nautilus, the Black Label interiors look really nice & I think the next generations of the MKC which will known as the Corsair & the next-gen Nautilus will be major improvements in the interior
9:30 I think ford did those just to advertise that they had 'more gears for better efficiency'.
Damn, fresh fade Yuri
As someone who used to valet park cars years ago we constantly had the issue of people walking away with the keys on them. If they turned off the car then they just made our day harder by having to track them down while their car was blocking the ramp. For valet companies this keyless start is an inconvenience and the fact that you can't take the car off park makes it worse. At least put a little place to put the key in like Infiniti (one of the first to have keyless start) did.
Excellent review! I'm strongly considering the smaller version of this vehicle, the MKC. It's uncool, but luxurious and more nimble than the Nautilus.
What's going on with that hood seating over the headlights? It literally looks like they weren't installed properly
