Welcome to the channel! Thanks for stopping by! Next week, I'm in the 2019 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro and I can't wait to share that video with you! See you next week!
Lincoln is the best value in the luxury segment now, by far. The only thing you give up is a bit of prestige, but if Lincoln keeps up with the quality products, that won't be an issue much longer.
Reviewers really shouldn't be vague in their descriptions: "not up to snuff", "not as good as some of the others in this category". There really should be a classification system or just not appear to nitpick.
True, but I don't mind the inside, because the outside makes up for it..most suv don't look as sharp!!
It looks incredible...and it's called "Nautilus," ffs. And it's a Lincoln, which actually means something again, after a long period of not meaning anything more than an overpriced Ford. The best thing about the new Lincolns is that they're not trying to play the "goes this fast around the Nurburgring" game. Also, it's called Nautilus. I like.
Why is everyone saying this Nautilus 73,000??? The most fully loaded you can get it $63,000.

The 73,000 is in Canadian dollars.
I'm surprised at this review . I purchased a off lease 2017 reserve MKX with 26 thousand miles . it has all the its loaded . still has the new car smell . If i was reviewing this vehicle i would give it a 10 excellence . it drives like a dream in cabin noise is minimal . its a heavy vehicle so when driving you must give it a chance until you fall in love with it . to me its very luxuries . I have the 2.7 v6 twin turbo . and let me tell you it moves . everything about it i love . all i can say is if you like what you see . take a test drive
The new exterior looks delivers a promise that the interior just can’t cash. Pity because it really looks good and I like the new naming convention.
This is more of a mid cycle refresh than anything. I’d say they’re probably working on a full redesign to be unveiled sometime within the next two years. This has been around for a few years now and it’s starting to show, especially when compared to the Aviator's interior layout. Don’t get me wrong, this is a very nice car and they do offer a variety of interior colors as well as black label themes to choose from.

Unfortunately, the BL version is not available for us Canucks.

phlotographer That’s a sign that this style may be replaced if they’re not investing too much into it. I think there’s a such thing as having too many crossovers in a lineup, especially with the hot new Aviator, that and the Navigator came and stole the fire from everything else. Lincoln’s certainly headed in the right direction though.

@@EricFortuneJr. unfortunately, even with earlier versions of the MKX the BL was not available here even though it is basically built just down the road a bit. Just saw a few reviews of the 2020 Corsair and the interior seems to be somewhat similar to the Aviator but not as large as the Nautilus which is my preferred size so hope that the next iteration of the Nautilus is either as an eV or ICE but along the structure of the Corsair including the BL options even if some of the "perks" are not included. My dealer provides door to door and the dealer has been great about providing a loaner MKX when needed.
IDK man the buttons for the gear selection are pretty slick. I had an MKC for two years and I ended up loving it.

My last three Lincolns have had the button shifter, (just like my '63 Plymouth Furry had ;-), and I'd never want to go back to a lever or a knob.
This is a cheaper alternative. For a reason they made it with less luxery feel. I thiught u were smarter than this. The nautilus is an awesome for for its price point.

Vs. its class competitors it still feels relatively on the low end of the luxury spectrum though. Of course it's gonna be less loaded than a Navigator or Continental but it still manages to get beat out by class

I love it!!
The Nautilus name is an homage to Captain Nemo's fictional submarine.
When this vehicle was introduced I thought it would be a good alternative to the Navigator. But now with the Aviator coming out I think that’s the one to go for. I, like you don’t see anything really special in the interior of this car and for over 70K I think I would choose a VOLVO wagon, AUDI, BMW, or Merc. And we all know the deprecation will be the worst out the cars I just mentioned.

The Aviator although definitely more luxurious will also carry a hefty larger price tag. From folks I have spoken to at my dealership (MKX 2011 version) there likely will be an E version of the Nautilus within one to two years.
Does it have “heads up display” or have a option for it?
That's so beautiful
I Love my Lincoln MKX
I’m usually immune to sticker shock, but wow... over $73,000 ! I’m glad to see Lincoln back in the game, I’d pretty much given them up for dead not that long ago, and I really like this Nautilus, but I think Lincoln are being overly ambitious in their pricing. The brand equity is yet to be established.

73,000?? Do you mean 63,000? This car doesn’t even get any where near 70k.

@@N-Scale -- that is a much nicer price. I don't anticipate doing a change on my MKX 2011 with slightly below 100K KM but like to keep up on the current versions of the Lincoln SUV's

The gauge cluster screen said it was -9° outside. Was it really that cold?!

He's in Canada, so that's -9°C (16°F) which isn't very cold for Canada in January.
The exterior is really let down by the interior. Lincoln should've made the dashboard, center console and seats more like the Navigator or Aviator. That's too bad...
How about the driver seat legroom? You seem pretty tall. 6'2"?
@maxlandireviews

6’4 no issues with legroom front, tonnes in the rear!
What a confusing little crossover! Lincoln really could be a next level American lux brand if they tried hard enough, but this SUV seriously would have been cooler as an EV IMO.
@techtim123

Brian I am aware it wasn’t designed to be an EV what I was saying was in the crowded SUV market we don’t need just another of the same. We need to see ford and Lincoln flex some type of EV muscle(For relevancy sake!)and this vehicle in my opinion would have been the perfect test case where they could experiment with the interior and power train technologies!
Freeze at 1:52 and check out that horrible fit and finish of the hood meeting the right quarter panel just above the headlight. That's at least a 3/8" overlap. It looks like crap.
@Pro1er

It only looks like that on camera, it's actually the design which is incorporated into the headlight trim. It's fine.
So expensive and way too much Ford inside. The center dash is so bad along with whatever 80s car that wood came out of. Not worth it

@spyke0511 oh yeah cause I got XT5 bruh. You think I didn't look at this shit MKX with jsut facelift? I see Aviator interior being real nice and compete ahead of my caddy for sure. But this ugly ass cheap plastic shit center console nautilus? Nope just another Ford shit saving cost. XT5 platinum was way better in interior then shitty black label whatever fancy name shit they tried to fool me on just lipstick on pig. Clearly you only like Lincoln and if you don't see this material difference then just go enjoy your plastic Lincoln bruh. I will enjoy my XT5 leather.
Excellent exterior design, terrible interior! Cheap materials and interior design, unbelievable!!! Why spoil this car with such an interior.

Way too expensive that is what all American vehicles have crappy sales! Germans and Japanese make bang for there buck. American makes idk what for the buck
