I have one and we love it so far. Very comfortable to drive. Fit and finish is very well done. Rides like a Cadillac. Many nice features on the SLT level. The tailgate design is genius. 1500 rpm at 70 mph. That’s crazy nice. If you like chrome...you get plenty. The interior is nice,..I don’t understand people bashing the interior. The seats are more comfortable than our Cadillac was. Ram trucks are nice too, but we prefer the looks and ride of this model

Yeah. I filmed a Denali not too long ago. I haven't done anything with the footage. It's all in limbo right now.

About 1:40 into the video, how did you get the front lights to do that or was it from the camera??

Camera. I am shooting 60fps and LED's flicker rate is approximately 40-50fps. I may need to invest in post-production filters to help alleviate this annoyance. In person, those lights do not flicker.

Im sure that pretty Ram interior will keep you nicely entertained on the side of the rode while you wait for your tow truck

FYI, No adaptive cruise on 2019 Sierra. Once they have it I’ll buy one.

Wow what a let down.

I like the look but they took out features that should have been left in. Cd player, center console in front storage etc. GM ALWAYS seems to take out features before adding features. To me the interior isn't as nice as the out going model. After three generations of Sierra. Ram will probably be my next buy.

Yeah. Most makers now are actually not including CD players in their vehicles anymore! Most buyers now have a lot of digital music, and sadly, hard-copy media is becoming somewhat obsolete. Most makers offer CD players as options now!

@@NeighborhoodCarReviews cd as a option is fine but atleast offer it. GM has given up on it yet millions of records are sold every year on cd. Ram as it, which is another reason for people to buy it. I turned down a ATS sedan because it had no cd player and well features I didn't like. GM could have easily put a cd player in this truck. They choose not to as a cost cutting measure. But great review either way bud.

I just got rid of my 2015 GMC sierra SLT Z71 for a 2019 Ram LAramie 4x4. Looked at the new 2019 GMC Sierra SLT Z71 and was really disappointed, they added some features that should have been in the previous model like blind spot, push button start and proximity key, options Ram and Ford have had for quite a while that you could only get from GM on their higher trim SUV's. Then put in a single speed transfer case WTF and kept the same shitty Bose sound system and somehow made the interior more boring than before. The new GM twins are a total disappointment.

crvilca1 If you only knew that ZF Transmissions on the Ram are made in Germany and BMW Range Rover Jaguar uses them as well. Right now is the smoothest and nicest transmission on the pick up line. Ford/GM 10 speed tranny is having some issues right now.

Love this truck. Going with the Black AT4, which has an interior to due for and black bumpers. Best yet. All the people talking about a cheap ass Ram. LoL. Can't afford a real truck

Honestly, I really like the Sierra in exactly this configuration, but with 6.2/10sp. Yeah, the interior is unadulterated garbage, it still has a 6 speaker stereo from 1997, the column shifter is shared with a model $30k cheaper, and you can’t get power tilt/tele steering or power pedals for $60k. I guess I’ll overlook that for the drivetrain. Brand agnostic...I’ll take a Ford 150 5.0/10sp or Ram 5.7 just as quickly. They all have shortcomings in one way or another...

Nice upgrade but really RAM took it to another level. The only reason to get the GMC is if you are stuck on the "GMC" name

Looks like they DUMPED the led marker lights from shutting off when blinkers activated. I hated that

Honestly, when I was filming this truck, I thought those were turn indicator repeaters. I had a hard time figuring out how to turn the spot lamps on, because the button is not marked. In the Ford, the mirror spot lamps have their own dedicated buttons, and the turn repeaters are integrated in the unit.

Do those lights on the mirrors even work? They're so dark looking .....

So, they are actually spot lamps. I thought they were turn repeaters. They do work, however, the mirror spot lamps on the F-150 are brighter and have a more spread out beam path than this truck does.

I'd like to compare the Denali to the RAM Limited. I can say from this trim level to the Laramie RAM, I feel the RAM fit and finish, especially the interior, is far above what the GMC is. I have not seen the Denali, however.

Yeah. Sadly, in my area, there are no good places to film, really. This worked out because the dealer owns this land. Where the big gravel strip is, used to be a Golden Corral! That has long since been torn down back in 2007 when we had the flood, and that building had 15" of water in it.

Is the engine motor still the same like the 2018 model?

I asked the exact same question. I was told that it’s for added headroom, which does indeed add about an inch or so, so it works. Looks a bit clumsy, however.

@@lindasanford9928 nope.com. The mirrors look ridiculous that low. It even has a plastic piece where the mirrors used to be. It's like they decided at the last minute.

The truck looks good on the outside but really basic on the inside. The big horn Ram looks better and it’s not ever the top truck. Ram is the new king of trucks.

Overall, this truck had a very nice, not very truck-like ride, surprisingly. The cabin was quiet and ride was very smooth and controlled. As far as body control is concerned, it felt well-planted and refined at high speeds and in corners. Regarding your comment; I have thought about providing commentary during the drive portions, and have seen mixed reactions to this. In the future, I may provide a mix of some commentary and some silence. I like for viewers to see how quiet or not they are, but I can respect having feedback as well. I will consider this in future videos. Thanks for the feedback!

It's unique for sure. I like the concept of it, and, in reality, it seems pretty well built. I would be interested to see how it holds up to real world use and abuse in the long term, however.

Good review on gmc but ram will be my next truck these interiors for gm are just way behind even Ford is better. The ford ecoboost 2.7 seems better than the 5.3 when you compare all specs.

WTH are you talking about? This motor is NOT a dual overhead cam 32 valve V8. It’s still a pushrod V8 with a single cam. Maybe do some research before making a review on a truck. I stopped watching at that point.

An important message for those who wish to buy a new car from GM !!!!!!!!!!......... I bought a new car from GM and unfortunately I found that the car has a lot of mechanical problems, in addition, I also found that the service-garages do not know how to deal with faults and cause a lot of damage, and unfortunately, I find that GM's customer service does not relate to customers, Think better before you buy a car from Gm .
