Almost the same as my 2016 Sierra but I like my side view mirror is big two pieces towing mirrors with power fold and signal lights plus the front set was setting of three not two the middle you can convert to third set. If they have that options Probably I will upgrade my truck.

"Quality materials." LOL. Yes, nothing but the finest, thin plastic money can buy. Gotta love those mile-wide panel gaps around the glove box, too. That tailgate is goofy and bound to break. You know that's going to get dented by hitch balls and scratched against curbs and sidewalks when the driver forgets about how far it drops down.

As i see the video i wonder how many buttons does this truck have inside the cab 150 or 200 buttons? What do you guys think... I like the 16 and 17 gmc but really not this one

Still look like Ford F-150. I’m a GMC guy and I love the small yellow lights they used to have them for the front lights. They didn’t put it on 2016 and anyway the front face started looking like Dodge Charger at night. And for the 2019 became looking like f-150.

Wonder if ford headlights will swap out with the gmc now

Looking more like a F150 with aluminum hood, doors and tailgate. So how are they going to pick on Fords now.

Would that tailgate work as a rumble seat for the Mrs. or maybe double as a cooler for diet coke twinkys and chips, with room for her to sit and bounce while old fred takes her off roading ? Got overload springs ? The mrs. is no light weight.

What’s the difference between this truck and the Denali ? Beside the looks and chrome

Excellent upgrades. I had a 2003 Yukon XL for 13 years, it had none of these features but was still the best vehicle I ever had. This truck will be my next vehicle!

As much as i like the Sierra, it should have gotten its own interior. This shared lookalike interior with the Silverado is a fail from GM.

I would love to know how you got your hands on this gmc Sierra you can't even go to gmc website and build this truck with all the features this one has it's a Denali without being a Denali everyone knows the Denali grille and this one has the standard grille. It's even stamped SLT on the back

Pro tailgate puts the others to shame, rear bumper steps, extra wide bed, AC outlet in the bed and cabin, 12, (yes 12) welded in place bed tie-downs plus 6 optional tie-down spots, storage behind the rear seats (tire pump, hand guns), storage under the rear seats, full size spare..plus the GMC cheaper than the others even in the Denali trim (heads up display, surround camera vibrating seat alerts (instead of a chime))...best value by far. UPDATE: I bought a loaded SLT with the STANDARD size bed. With the gate down and the "step" flipped up 4' x 8' drywall and plywood will fit FLAT on the bed with 2 inches of clearance between the wheel wells and about 5 inches of clearance between the back of the bed and the flipped up step. With the AC outlet in the bed we can cut our pieces right at the truck if we need to. Just an awesome truck so far.

Most in depth review I've seen yet of this truck. I'm definitely going to get one soon. I have a couple questions though. For Apple car play you still have to be connected via usb right? Does Apple car play work via the new USB-C port too? Is there fast charging on the wireless charger and/or the USB-c port? I have an iPhone X and I'm curious about all of these questions. Last, when it comes to the new infotainment system, what bluetooth version did they go with? I'm curious about the techy side stuff on this truck. GREAT REVIEW! Learned a lot I didn't know before!

SHould have given us a better view of the dash screen. :) Looks dated and cheap in the cabin. No "Auto Park Assist (self parking)". 2019 RAM's have it. 2018 Ford F150's have it.

The Shooters Bay then people complain about it being to expensive. People are never going to be 100% happy

The previous Sierra was big competitor in my truck purchase this year, but the redesign just doesn't do it. I'll take my outdated Tundra any day. Good luck to anyone picking this up without the extended warranty.

that Chinese made key fob breaks after using it twice,you're breaking the glass to get in or walking!

I personally think it is hideous looking. The design of the interior is not far off from the 2014- 2018 models. Glad I bought a new 2017 Silverado last year.

I love GM Trucks, but that tailgate is one option I want deleted from mine when I upgrade.

Didn't show storage space, cup holders and most importantly PRICE 👀

Cars and trucks are getting very expensive to fix. First thing you need is a scan, then some type of module or sensor needs replacing and that’s at the very least you will need.

Seat bottom seat cushions are a lot shorter in these 19's. So if your over 5-9 you will be VERY uncomfortable. My current Explorer is the same way and its horrible. So GMC/Chevy just lost a customer for being cheap

Just a word of caution - the new 2019 Silverado-Sierra twins can NOT even be ordered or does NOT come with the “power brake and foot pedal” adjuster.... Think about such a large truck without this option....If you have short legs, you have to move up the seat close to the steering wheel, which has an airbag in it. This is normally a pretty standard option for most trucks (GM, Ram, Ford)...I own a 2017 Silverado, but some “bean counter” within GM axed this very useful feature......why?

Justin Reily I'm very aware of the interior similarities. I was all over every inch of this truck at a local dealer few days ago. The 14 and earlier models had an interior that was lagging as well. It is what it is, and I think most people will agree on the interior assessment.

Small instrument panel screen is a travesty. I prefer the 8" screen on my 2016 F150 Lariat. However, I do like the features on the entertainment screen. Lots of stuff I wish Ford would have.

Specially the 2018 Sierra Denali looks great.

I don't care for the giant chrome grill. I prefer the body colored or black grill.

There is a lawsuit in the states against these vehicles for having surging stuttering and hard shifting transmissions... buyer beware! GM replaces only one component at a time so by the time they get to the end of the trans... it’s screwing up from the front again. How do I know... 2018 all terrain 1500 had 8500 miles on it the last 5 months I owned it half the time (honest) it was in there shop.

The gmc has always in my opinion looked better than the chevy but for my these have way to many buttons and stuff to tear up and that tailgate is a joke .what happens when it malfunctions? 4k for a tailgate ...

That’s a good lookin truck. I can possibly deal with the poor dash styling and cheap looking gauges/info screen. The diehards will flock to these...

All it’s missing is a 10” screen..

Anyone who’s a GM fan knows it’s all about the drivetrain and the way GM’s drive and handle. Unfortunately in typical GM fashion, however the interior are terrible in regards to function they buttons and switches have too many functions they are complicated and hard to use while in motion, and the thumb wheels in my opinion are silly. Tell me why GM changed the typical manner of button placement of the cruise control. Of all things that should be uniform to all vehicles because it allows intuitive operation without distractions while driving. I just know one thing as much as I feel that these trucks are nice overall, I’ll never buy one, at least new, because they cost way too much and it’s not a good idea to spend money that can still buy a house or property in some areas on a truck that doesn’t return any investment from its purchase.

About the price of the new trucks. In my opinion I think It's not bad if you buy new every 3 to 4 years and keep them in good shape with low miles. I always get the Sierra 1500 and get 25,000 to 30,000 for a trade. So when your only paying half of the cost of a new truck it's not that bad. On the other hand, if you buy a 55,000 truck and keep it for 9-10 years and put 100,000 miles on it and then trade it in your gonna take a big hit. It will be like starting all over. When the warranty is gone time to get a new truck.
