Yep I’m not the biggest fan of the Bass Pro Tour. I’m just old school and like the 5 fish limit and not every fish over a pound and a half counts. They need to go back to the elites

That intro is truly what we all dream of. I'm working on a great career once I graduate college, and then I'm going to save so much money that one would barely be able to believe. Then comes that dream of owning a bass boat and then comes the grind that I can't wait to endure. I know this means nothing to anyone, but this intro got me emotional thinking about the hopeful prize if I can play my cards right. See you on the big stage. I just want to be the best in the world.

Wheeler is going to go down with the likes of KVD, Rick Clunn, and others as being one of the greats, ever. This year alone his finish here at the Classic, nearly winning it, the General Tires World Champion, and won an MLF event and nearly won others, losing narrowly. What a machine.

All these guys biggest mistakes is leaving BASS for MLF? I just ask why? Why leave the real deal for a generic league like MLF? Which is gona go down in history and never be forgotten a Bassmaster classic win or a redcrest win? I just dont understand it

@@kyleadams1215 follow the money. In bass, they were just competing for each other’s entry fees, money was leaving that’s why it use to pay 500k for the win and went to 300. I read they are paying less for entries and getting more bonus for big fish.

It's not at all meaningless. It's the next stage and chapter in Bass fishing. What's the difference in Ray Scott's dream to better the sport and Boyd Ducketts dream to better the sport??????? Absolutely nothing at all. Anybody that has anything negative to say about mlf is not a true fan of the sport in my honest opinion. They made it better for the anglers and the fish. I can't fault them for any of that. Can't see how you can either

Watching this as someone who fishes inshore and offshore, I never got the hype of freshwater fishing. Everyone says this intro is amazing and what not but I honestly just feel like someone is trying to hype up youth league sports. Like where's the challenge of the seas? The tides, currents and waves, being miles from help and land. The skill to navigate dangers and still get a fish thats much more difficult to catch.

It’s about unlocking the puzzle of the lake and competing against the rest of the best. Bass fishing isn’t easy at all. Fishing for 5-8 bites in a day is grueling and the reward for doing it consistently and winning is unmatched. I love offshore fishing, but bass fishing is where my heart is. There are guys that feel the same way about chasing redfish. I don’t get it, but they love it and I can’t fault them one but for it.
