Another fishing video this winter for me, cabin fever at an all time high, I'm ready to catch some bass, last year was one of my best, with limited fishing trips(once a week all summer due to the work schedule). This guy here is on the hunt for a 11 pounder in the state of Iowa. State record is 10 pounds 12 oz, caught in the 80s by a woman who got lucky, she caught it with a nightcrawler while catfishing. It's time to break the record this year, I really hope it's my dad or I who does it, he's been trying for many years to get it, and believe me, we have both been close

Not sure why Mike was wasting time putting cull tags on 6 pounders. If you have a limit of 6 pounders, then you can worry about cull tags lol.

I've fished for a while now but I'm starting to get interested in tournament fishing and have a question: whenever a pro is featured there seems to be a ton of boats right near them and if there are only 52 boats fishing are those others just spectators? or are they just vultures tying to follow someone around and taking their spots??

they are just rude losers assholes with no life of their own. It is dangerous, rude, and can effect the catch of the pro. I know they are fans, but come on! No RESPECT

well it's still a public body of water so they can't stop people from getting out there on it. a lot of them are spectators following their favorite anglers, and the bulk of those are probably fishermen themselves who live nearby and are trying to pick up tips from the pros. but at the end of the day just because there's a tournament going on it doesn't mean they can keep the public off the lake.
