Dam Dave! Nice job mate! My old fishing buddy lives in Knoxville and has a workshop on 50 acres overlooking the river below one of the dams. You can see about 1.5 miles both ways.

I've been retired for 16 years now ....... can't tell you how much fun I'm having. I did things right , saved, worked hard and was able to retire at age 54.

Dave was slaying them today. Fun watch.

You had so much action going on there I thought you were going to trip over your dip net or step on it and break it. Caught some nice fish Dave. Thanks for the video! It looked like the kind of day that is a lot of fun!

25 years ago I took my kids to a stocked catfish pond, and my youngest finally put his pole down, and when I asked if he was done, he said "yeah, I'm tired of catching big ones." XD Rough problem to have, I tell ya.

I know this isn't your chicken video. But I have to tell you the red chicken works. At least here on KY lake it does. I didn't believe it either until I tried it and it works better than skip jack. At least for medium size cats. Blues of course. If you put a big piece on you can catch big fish. The red chicken will stay on the hook for a long time. Whereas regular chicken breast doesn't. I guess the gelatin does it. Whatever it works great. Cat fishing here isn't as good as it was thanks to the Asian carp BTW. Cut up Asian carp works pretty good too. Whole ones if they are small.

Dave usually drags against the current. Lots of other guys swear by going with the current. I usually zig zag across the current. It's hard to argue with Dave's success.

Hey, you should wear a back brace if your back is hurting that much. I got a gut too but you can find one that fits. If you go down from an injury or back pain you won't be able to do what you love the most... cat fishing!
