That's why I got it. Mercedes is a better daily car. BMW just looks angry af. It's uncomfortable in the competition variant on poor roads but that's what makes it feel special. You know you're basically driving a track car on public roads. C63 is like a passenger car that can occasionally go on the track if you chose to

@@porschet5898 if I had the money I'd definitely get the gt63. That thing looks like what I'd want an amg to look. Angry like it will bite your head off in the 2 door variant and the 4 door variant. Great choice holding off and not getting a generic 911

Pilot sport cup 2's make a huge difference. I'd say if the tyres were the same there would be a ~2 second difference which is still huge but not as massive as the 4 seconds suggests

I got a M4 so I'm not biased but this comparison is BS. The CS is on pilot sport cup 2's, that's worth atleast a few seconds by itself on a track.

supaahflyy but they tested them on the tires they sell them with from the factory. So it is a fair comparison.

Tashinga Dekune sounds like a AMG fan got their feelings hurt by reality. 4 seconds on a track is huge. But don’t get me wrong my grandparents love their C63s.

C63S vs M3 Competition would have been a better match up as the Competition model is the direct competitor to the "S" model. The CS, is an even higher version of the M3 that doesn't have a C63 competitor.

@@qwertyqwerty-zi6dr in terms of straight line performance the C63s is a faster car, the M3 and m4 might be quicker, I have owned a C63s myself and raced a buddy of mine with a m4, he got me on the launch due to the less power, but it was only a matter of seconds I caught up, but I do give the Mercedes a better driving experience due to its comfort aswell as the torque

I was riding a friends c63s and damn that car doesn’t really struggle for grip. This car does really eat it’s tyres up

M3 for me please.

That M3 is just the better car, especially the CS, the C63s is a badass automibile, but just not today, it only sounds better (subjective tk the CS but obvious to the ordinary M3) and better looking inside, thats just about it..

At the end of the day there is no such thing than „better“ or not. Its just a matter of taste. We have an 2017 C63s and I love it for its insane sound, the immense straight line performance ans its fancy interieur. The M3 on the othet hand looks the business and handles better. Both definitely appealing! I‘d love myself an F80 Comp as manual as well!

I love the aggressive looks and and handling of the M3 CS which of course confirms it as the Benchmarker, I am also in favor of the M division's idea of leveraging the M cars, M3 comes in standard,competition,CS,DTM,GTS, all great performers in their respects very few car makers can do

Tumi St the very little difference between the super sports and PS2s. I’ve used them both on my M3. They’re both very sticky. Super Sports last a little longer and have better water channeling.

Pilot super sport vs pilot sport cup? The merc can put 2 to 4 sec less on this track with those sport cup tires lol ! Comparing a car with a track tire to another with a street tire on a track is simply a no contest, these car must be compare with the same tire, and yes the bmw will be faster but not 4 sec faster lol ! Come on!!

Doesnt make any different. Even the M3 Comp with 450hp beats the 510hp c63s on Nordschleife. Both on similar tires. But I agree with you. I realy dislike cup2 tires cause they are absolutly useless in a daily. When it's raining you can drive with 70kmh on Autobahn😂

You have cup tires on m3 and street tires on Benz not a fair comparison

Fit the same tyres to the c63 and then test again.. The gap will be much smaller

Zaheer Kader very little difference between the Super Sports and PS2s. I’ve used them both on my M3. The Super Sports just last a little longer and have better water channeling. They’re both very sticky tires. The biggest difference maker here is just what they said; the M3 is over 500 pounds lighter. Plus is has a lower center of gravity.

We are forgetting that merc are a more luxurious car with a lot of power and grunt and not so track based with a sunroof that adds a lot more weight which doesn’t provide as much downforce as the bmw’s carbon roof and also the cs is just a step away from the gts making it more track focused and has a harder ride and 250 kg lighter but the c63s has a comfier ride with air suspension and no weight saving. All up the c63s is made for comfort with a fantastic straight line speed at high speed and the m3cs cs is track focused and has a harder ride

Avishkar Singh you are forgetting the different variables throughout this comparison they could have warmed the tires up or not you don’t know what the weather was like or road surface they were on. If you didn’t know the C63s has a bit of a drawback because of its amount of power it has when launching and the weight of it doesn’t help either but if conditions were good and using the right tires (Ps4s) or (SS) it would do well and soon the C63s would catch up and smoke the M4. Not to mention how good the gearbox is in sport + or race mode on pickup, it completely destroys the M4’s throttle response and flys past it leaving the M4 in the dust. And also launching the C63s in race mode or sport + is not the fastest way to launch it normal sport mode is the fastest off the line delivering enough power but still not all of its full power so it is able to get off the line more reliably and faster

When it comes to road conditions and weather both cars faced the same challenge and the M3 came out the better car. Besides I have seen another video where the M3 was faster obviously again on different road conditions and weather so that point is to me invalid. On the point of tires, those tires the M3 had didnt even do it any justice in terms of grip if you noticed the bad launch that is the wheelspin off the line yet it still overtook the C63S. Minus the bad launch this M3 would be even faster. On the race modes I'm sure the drivers here would have had them on the same settings which to me would be the most equitable thing to do. If not that's fine too cause I saw a video where they raced the two on the same settings and the M3 came out tops.

Avishkar Singh I’ll give it to you that the bmw can get off the line faster in most cases but when you look at it closely they are two different cars for roughly the same price the Merc has better quality, sound and comfort and definitely not meant for the track while the bmw is made for the track, is a lot lighter because and it has a harsh ride and not the comfiest of all and not to mention that sluggish awful electric steering around town no matter what mode the steering is in comfort or sport it still feels awful and the throttle response and gearbox still destroys the M4 on any rolling race the 7 speed DC in the M4 is clunky and horrible and is not as fast as the Merc’s 9 speed MCT has a single input shaft but two clutch packs which basically shifts as fast as the bmw’s and has better pickup and the C63s would then fly past it in a rolling race

Lmfao thats the first time in a car review video i see someone with the same shoes as minexD (addidas ones) Btw M3 ftw and to say that the M5 was the actual direct competitor to the C63s!

This is rubbish. I'm an M4 owner but this is such a disingenuous comparison. One is a track car with pilot sport cup 2 tyres and the other is not only on normal pilot sport 4s. That alone is worth atleast 2 seconds + on a track... This is just stupid. You'll have fanboys now claiming BMW to be so much better when infact the tyres made most of the difference
